Gek News Episode 5

thought cannon was saying a different name @12:35

"I have a dream, that I will reunite soul society because I was Ichigo" - Mckay, probably.

Safe space 💗 Really cool how you guys crafted these episodes with the different segments; appreciate jack for differentiating bloodhounds pain from Sherlock; appreciate you all! Good week everyone 💞

Not asking much, please some crumbs of Naruto OP reaction plans

Ok, one thing I need to say. If it’s just beens on toast you always add butter and you NEVER have beens cold. Microwave them if you’re short on time or lazy.

Cannon since you brought up Survivor, you must watch Fear Factor: House of Fear, and also The Traitors. The US regular season casts people from TV Reality shows. They're going to do a non-celebrity season for the US franchise soon.

I've seen a video from a react channel here or there, but never have I ever felt so engaged to stick around as I have with the Geks. I'm not even a patreon supporter usually, but this gang I felt the embrace to support. I'm glad to watch these news uploads as well and get to know y'all and the channel's plan.

yay I love gek news

IU has a song with Suga of BTS!! It's one of my favorite. Pls listen to it on Gekpop 🙏

lol as a redhead, St. Patrick’s day is kind of a drag because of all the leprechaun jokes, but Carter that picture might have just redeemed the whole day for me 😂 Baby Gek is so unbelievably precious! Well done!

Yous are genuinely the highlight of my week a lot of the time, appreciate you lot <3. Also W editing, W Stako.

I actually need a this is for album reaction so bad im itching for it

I read all the maze runner books and watched the first movie in theaters when it came out. Missed the last two movies though, so legendary pull from carter

Dub dream Mckay 🤣🔥

W STAKO these Gek News gets better every week. Loved the addition of K-pop to the BGM.

Bleach 🤌

IM WAITING FOR THE TWICE REACTION TWICE IS THE BESTTTTTT ILLIT AND MORE NEW JEANS RIGHT AFTER I NEED GG LOVE GUYS PLEASE

ai fruit love island is burning the earth at this very moment

Patiently waiting for Bleach 🙂‍↕️

Would love if we could all vote on an new release anime to watch, lots of shows starting soon like Witch Hat Atelier or Daemons of the shadow realm 👀

Cannon that's not my Luke Skywalker!! Episode 1-6 only, the sequels don't exist for me! 🤬🤬 btw it's been 84 years I'm waiting for Return of the Jedi 🥀

This is why I love McKay everybody is doing favorite moments and he does least favorite moment 😂😂

8:29 Schedule! What do we have to do to get Tangerines twice a week??!! 😩🙏 YESS W CANNON 🍊 TANGERINES APPRECIATION!! W propaganda and great idea recommending it to family and young couples! Next propaganda is to convince the others to do it twice a week!

7:09 Lou is such a cutie pie! 🥹💚 look at her sticking her tongue out haha she's gonna need siblings soon! Growing up with six older siblings was a Blessing and I have so many beautiful memories of my childhood! I wish that for everyone! ❤️

genuine question, how much money do I need to pay for y'all to react to fruits basket?

So excited for Breaking Dawn Pt.2!! Dune should be the next movie so yall can join the hype for part three!

Yayy glad yall enjoyed Arirang! Definitely a no skip album! Happy to see it doing good on YT as well! The K-pop community always supports! 💜 Oh Cannon? ARMY will be there for that stream! And I love how you got 'Butter' in your head it's so catchy

stako really upping the production quality on gek news and it shows. Looking professional AF now

I got excited thought yall were at the beach. Idk why I thought the dirt was sand and the town behind yall was the ocean lol

1:06 you might even say,, young cadets

cortis mentioned

This week Frieren ends, JJK ends, Sherlock ends, and Twilight series is finished. Next week Orb ends. Excited for the new shows and movies. Bloodhounds s2 also dropping soon. Looks like spring is upon us

Close enough? https://maps.app.goo.gl/Wt42r3L8FSeNk3qe7

Seeing this kpop channel be created made me realize I would love for them to react to just music in general lol there's so many bangers out there that I'm sure people haven't listened to before. Love discovering music.

Try 105 in AZ

I don’t think a spirit bomb would be healthy for anyone

With that foot drip, Carter was definitely walking through the valley of the shadow of death like he feared no evil.

I suggest start using an ND filter for better exposure on the footage ❤️

Jack do you know the ost from bleach named "treachery"?

On a side note…. Socks and sandals interesting choice def giving dad vibes now 😂🤣

You know what's crazy? It just hailed yesterday where I live and it's so cold. I live in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia, it should NOT be hailing where I live. Your weather doing the opposite at the same time is funny

Cannon randomly singing “smooth like butter” 😂 an ARMY already

I see y'all with the kpop lofi remixes

Cortis 💀

ive been subbed since the start of ur first AoT watch and ive never commented, but now that steel ball run is out i just have to ask WHEN WILL YOU GUYS WATCH JOJO???

carter with an accidental "praise the sun" emote. shoutout dark souls. need a ds1 stream frfr

Survivor mentioned, let's go! Agree with Cannon, crazy vote-off on survivor last week.

Dune would be a dope movie franchise to start after twilight!

Lol where are these guys from 2 weeks ago it was snowy mountains now its the desert

I would actually love a mission impossible marathon (I know you mentioned it a few weeks ago)

I would love for you guys to react to Jennie - Ruby album, it is such a gem (no pun intended 😬) and musically more interesting than blackpink albums. I think everyone will find something they like on it

I’m waiting your reaction on BTS concert 😍😍😍 I hope it would be quickly

No frieren ?????

I thought there was only one more episode of Sherlock left. Why are there two sherlock days this week? :o

Comment of the week for me is by Dub_quinn under the Bleach video “I love that the Geks look like they’re having so much fun today” I don’t know, it felt so sweet. Also I don’t mean to brag but my favorite moment of the week was going to the Attack on Titan beyond the walls orchestra… But enough about me, obviously the best Gek moment was the Castlevania reaction. And if you know what I’m talking about, you’re a legend.

Until next time <3

Would loovee to see a Gek Fam reacts to WLGYT 🍊. Also excited for OP fan letter this week ^^

Y’all should watch steel ball run

Happy Monday folks, Gek news has levelled up with the editing, investing early in the success of this format 📈📈 Coupla separate questions: 1. Are you hyped af for fan letter? (Should only be one answer lads) 2. Have u decided if you're watching it and also uploading it as it's own reaction on Tues? Or have you decided you're watching it together with the normal eps and including it as an extra ep in an otherwise normal drop?

Bloodhounds season 2 comes out on April 3rd

For kpop reactions I highly recommend P1Harmony they just released an EP 2 weeks ago called UNIQUE that was so good

Thanks for the update!

Also Cannon hope you like the bracket name! 🥸

Nice, didn't really know what this was about but I liked it a lot, will be here next week.

Did I misunderstand or is there a new Patreon or just a new tier they’re talking about?

Yooooo Maze Runner mentioned🗣📢 a few great movies pops up when that's mentioned Clash of the Titans, Edge of Tomorrow, Hacksaw Ridge

LOVE GEK NEWS

As always, thanks for making my work day super chill and being the source of laughter I need. I watch ya'll so often at work that one of my co-workers said "oh, you watchin' your boys, what they watchin' today?" lol

How did I miss the demon slayer movie....oh...that title is why lol.

Really enjoying Gek News, thanks for the great content! ❤️

If you're ever going to try beans on toast, it has to be in a Full English Breakfast and not as a standalone! It works as part of an ensemble.

More BLEACH More old kpop

What do we gotta do for JoJo’s?

YK what guys i don't want to hear you complain about the beautiful weather and the shining sun when NYC is mucky skies and ice cold rain 😔 winter refuses to let us go it makes me SICK. I can't believe its almost april and I can't even wear a light coat yet

CANNON FINALLY LISTENS TO ME W MULLET 🫦🫦

You guys should do an old school kpop stream someday!! (we need that ring ding dong reaction)

I mean if you have to start a new movie series Dune is literally right there if you’re interested..😏

Mckay cosplays as orihime since they’re top opps

FAN LETTER TOMORROW‼️ IVE PRAYED FOR TIMES LIKE THIS🗣️🔥 Definitely a favorite moment of the week contender

Alright, when y'all do the cosplays for Bleach, McKay is Ichigo. Its settled

We need yall to watch the rest of the “ scary movies” before 6 comes out.

BABY LOU😭😭💘💘 she looks sooooo cute

I’m so hype for the twilight finale🗣️🗣️🗣️

Even if you don’t listen to k-pop, everyone should go subscribe to the GeK-pop and support the boys new channel!

Maze runner mentioned?? Dylan O Brien 👀👀 Hottie hottie

OMG! I hope you can react more Ateez ^.^

We’re saying goodbye to Frieren, but I’d love a hello to Apothecary Diaries

Ngl I think its gonna be mostly army on the stream lol it tends to be a common ground in kpop fans 🤣 event hough i love straykids, ateez, txt, enhypen, cortis etc, xdinary heroes, twice

OMG YES THE MAZE RUNNER TRIOLOGY

If y’all are wondering why there’s a couple of comments saying you guys should start Steel Ball Run / Jojos Part 7 even though you guys have watched none of jojos, it is the only part of Jojos that you can start out of order and be fine, it is a completely different story from the rest of the series I do think you’d enjoy it slightly more if you watched jojos in order, but if you wanted to jump in on the hype train since it will (hopefully) be dropping weekly, you would totally be able to do that

When you guys finish Sherlock you should replace it with WLGYT on the schedule 😁

How humble of Mckay not to pick one of thirst comments that was overtaking last week Gek News as his "comment of the week"😭

Aww RIP Chuck Norris. I didn't realize he died... He was such a legend and the epitome of my childhood. I remember watching Walker Texas Ranger when I would get home from school. And who could forget his famous appearance in Return of the Dragon, it left a big impression on me growing up. I'm glad he lived a long life. He made a difference in many people's lives making them feel less alone and being their role model. And since my Dad has a love for Martial Arts, it made me even more fond of him.

There is one more episode of JJK coming out Thursday, y’all are checking that out, right?

Transformers or Dune please

It’s a shame that Gek-news doesn’t get more traction cause it’s such a great way to communicate with viewers with such fun editing as well. I personally look forward to these each week, so thanks for the effort! Super excited for Breaking Dawn pt 2 :)

Thanks for another great weekly gek update. Honestly, I'm kind of behind with some of my reactions haha I've been busy visiting with family over the weekend. But it's nice seeing you guys exploring the outdoors and getting some fresh air. Hope it wasn't too hot for you though. This weather has been weird lately. It has almost felt like summer the past few days... I agree March is underrated. It needs more love. And I'm just going to echo what another person has said on here already. Having Kpop groups compete with each other might not be the best idea since fans can take it in the wrong way even if the intentions were good. It can cause a lot of conflict quick and create tension among fandoms. Because everyone is passionate about their favorites. So, I still think it would be better if you pick a group and do 4 or 5 music videos or dance practices/ performances or a guide of just that specific group each time. This way, you can learn about their different songs, their unique sound along with their wide range of music styles. Sorry but I'm still holding out hope for more Stray Kids. Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching Breaking Dawn part 2 with you guys. It's been a wild ride but very enjoyable and the nostalgia is hitting lol

The lofi version of Magentic you love to see it (hoping for a reaction on the Gek-pop channel) 🥹

I finally watched a Gek news and I’m actually kinda upset I missed the rest of them. This is such wholesome content and I love when creators have communication.

From Phoenix AZ here... We reached 107° last week 🫠🥵 crazy to have those temperatures in March, not looking forward to the summer 😭 Also, question, did I miss the last episode of the OP live action or is that still to come?

Where is Ops of naruto guys?? Have you forgotten?!

I'm loving the Gek News .such a good and fun vibes from you guys..it is indeed a safe space ♥️

OMG Twilight! YES

You guys should start ur MCU journey before Doomsday arrives or watch Fast and Furious, they’re basically the same thing

McKay you’re kinda reminding me of Lego Piece 12893 rn

I loved what Cannon said about WLGYT, thank you for promoting & suggesting/recommending the Kdrama to all your family members & friends :):):) Thank you guys for reacting to WLGYT😍❤️👌🫰👍 i also would like to suggest to you all to watch & react to IU's MV's and live performances, you'll all gonna love her more just like you loved her character in WLGYT as Aesun & Geumyoung..thank guys & God bless always☺️ Blessings!❤️

I would also suggest to proceed carefully with competition between fandom, in the K-pop world it can become toxic quickly, personally I would prefer if you don’t dive in this world that way. I would suggest certain live stream that could be suggestion from the watcher and others where you discover album or story about a specific band! but you do you of course, it’s just suggestion! I will watch still. Also I can’t wait for fan letter! Youpiii 🐥👒💜

R.I.P Chuck Norris 🫡

Aaaaahhhhh on Survivor ep. We were pissed about who got voted off cuz he was so fun to see. Also Emily girl makes me laugh so much!!! Her and her big mouth. I'm watching with my siblings, one of who is in colorado, so it's our sibling bonding time. Did u guys pick a horse for this season yet?

After Sherlock you should try the Lupin show on Netflix! It’s really good! Lupin is a great character too, it’s from a book also, it’s like THE gentleman criminal!

ATEEZ MENTION!!!

tiktok is banned in our country, but i support your shorts; like and comment for engagement

a little white balance and exposure correction would do miles for this landscape shot

I don’t know if they mentioned the next anime they’re watching, but the 2nd highest ranked manga behind Beserk is JoJos SBR and it just started! They need to start watching peak

I was listening to this at work right now like it was a radio station 😂 really chill vibes especially with the music

I think the Geks would enjoy Diamond no Ace (Ace of the Diamond), really good sports anime with some great characters and team dynamics. A lot of the things they liked about Haikyuu can be found in that show as well.

Yall should watch IU killing voice!!

Uhh what is fan letter? Like someone sent a letter to the author of one piece or something?

I love these Gek News Videos. They are just so cozy, love the different backgrounds the lofi music and ya'll just yapping about the week ☀️ And also love ur Patreon in general - there is always stuff going on and the community here is insane;in other Patreons i follow, there are maybe max. 20 comments under a video but here u always find ppl engaging with each other - makes it more fun to watch the videos 🌸💞

would actually loveee if you guys could check out IU and her music if you guys didnt know she plays Ae-sun in WLGYT and honestly her discography is top tier she is insanely talented❤️🫶

Ahhh!!! No!!! I won't be able to be there to cheer for my bias group on the stream!! I will be asleep at that time 😴😴 but oh well, hope carats show up and add seventeen to the competition, I mean you guys have to check out their FML album which even beat Taylor Swift in album sale 🫠🫠🫠 Anyway love your channel and all of your content can't wait for this week's bleach and WLGYT update 😁😁

who saw Steelball Run last week? It was great i know its crazy but I kinda want the guys to react to just episode one of Steelball Run

i stopped my sherlock watch with you guys because i was NOT looking forward to the john cheating arc, glad to see you were all confused and angry about it too! i’m coming back for the finale though!!!

The music slapped as always. I'm really jealous of you guys sitting in the sun since we just had 5 inches of snow dumped on us after everything had melted.

Next ep to be filmed on the moon

Another glorious Gek news in the books

The Fan Letter has got me so hyped. The same hype you got in 2010, when you were loading up Club Penguin, or Moshi Monsters

Also how’s brig doing guys?

Thanks for loving "When Life Gives You Tangerine"... in case you guys didn't know yet, Ae-sun - IU in real life is a well known Kpop soloist.. hope you also include her in your Kpop Channel.. "Love Wins All" is a must...

Yooo, Nirvanna the band the show the movie after twilight?😼

I just search up when life gives you tangerines bro what even could this be 😭😭 I’m seeing some guy give it an 11/10, comment sections saying this is a something you can only watch once, women and children crying. I’m scared guys

I was hearing the golden song and thought I was going crazy! When are you guys doing last Friday's Frieren drop? I didn't see it posted

For a second there I thought Cannon was 'bout to pick Castlevania's hog reveal💀💀

i think yall forgot to announce fate strange fake

Oh no not the bleach on toast comment

I’m from London. Beans on toast is actually very much enjoyed here. I’ve never tried it but I would. Also cold beans on toast sound criminal

No.29 was peak

Would love it if you reacted to EXO, especially their b-side tracks.

Their first GeK-pop youtube video already at 150k views in 3 days is insane. K-pop fans really don’t play around, they built different.

When we doing studio gek kahoot on stream?

WATCH RE:ZERO PLEASE!!

stako playing cortis?? LOVE TO SEE IT!!!

I agree with Cannon, I also got BYU winning, AJ Dybantsa is so good, (I hope my Warriors get lucky in the lottery and get that 1st pick to draft AJ, I know the odds are really low but lemme dream okay 💀)

at what point do we run out of new locations 🤔

Transformers

I just realized they have 4 clip-on mics but still use the dogwater single-mic setup on the couch for their reactions 😭

Cortis is that you!?

Let’s gooo! Happy Monday! It was 89° over here yesterday, I hate the heat 😩
