Reacting to Bleach OST pt. 1

Hey guys bleach osts are really iconic and and the bleach world is very divers in deferent nationalities with its osts music and it was very slept on lol. but another anime that has really good osts that you guys have to check out is My Hero Academia
The two songs I think you missed out on not doing for Bleach OST are Never Meant to Belong which is basically just the "get ready for depression this episode" song brought to by an extremely sad piano and violin crying their hearts out, and Nothing Can Be Explained which is exactly what you guys were saying with the tracks being super experiemental. To me it sounds like if someone's goal was to make a trippy anime OST that sounds like The Sounds of Silence (Hello Darkness My Old Friend). A lot of Bleach OST you can find officially on youtube and here's link to high quality official uploads of the two I mentioned: https://youtu.be/zO_532nbu0c?si=1TbQWivBaHcdzvE7 https://youtu.be/X34igEEtrac?si=77p7i2NWoU1g8yTD The last song you listened to is like most of the OST for the most recent season where they redid a lot of tracks with new vocals and/or arrangements that give them a similar vibe. If you thought it was crazy how good the OSTs are it's even crazier how they can completely remake them into separate works of art, but still the same song at it's core. If you listen to Never Meant to Belong, you can listen to the redone version which is Slip Away (Never Meant to Belong) which has some crazy soulful vocals (but please listen to the OG if you only do one). And if Nile is wondering, yes the gentleman doing vocals is a man of color. https://youtu.be/MBfwmMwvVT8?si=s14ulLxJPLEZvAGk
As for Bleach in general the factions of the world have different regional themes. The Soul Reapers and Soul Society have a clear japanese theming for the most part, the hollows and Hueco Mundo the place they primarily exist in have a strong spanish/latin theme, and the Quincies are very germanic. That's why whenever there's a theme relating to the hollows there's usually some king of latin flavor to the music and even the names of most things relating to hollows or their abilities are spanish.
The Big Three are known as such because they were the most popular, long running shows based on high performing mangas, and as other shows started and ended over the seasons these ones released new episodes week after week for yearssss. I wouldn't consider Dragonball part of the Big Three because it predates all of them. The Big Three stand on the shoulders of Dragonball in many ways.
y'all should definetively check more of bleach osts, there is a lot more good ones
Answering the question about Number One, Yes it was sung by a black woman and her name is Hazel Fernandes.
Another set of OSTs I would highly recommend is Fairy Tail OSTs. Def won't regret giving them a shot.
The Bleach OPs are a definite must for your guys awesome reactions. Since you guys loved the Clavar Le Espada instrumental, you guys would definitely love the Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War OST also coincidently called "Zero." Keep up the reactions guys.
Gotta do the openings next, loved the reactions keep it up brodie
Thanks Leon!
I don’t know how much this effects the production of music but anime does have the manga to look at. Also the manga is usually ahead of the anime so it could help them make the music for the fight scenes or a characters theme. Great video.
Thats a great point RJ! Bleach truly has amazing music
loved the reaction to that last song, here are some of my favorites from bleach going home never meant to belong its easy (will of the heart) on the precipice - orchestra 2022 here to stay 999 - orchestra Thanks for the reaction to bleach, hope everyone has a great holiday!
For the next reaction about bleach, could you react to the ost (La distancia para un duelo, hueco mundo ) please 🙏🏼
