35k & Shooting in 4K
As a way to celebrate 35k we decided to upgrade a few things to our set up…Finally went out and got a camera! Yes, we were using an iPhone up until now :) Excited to be shooting with this one. But on a serious note, Canon or Sony? (Fun fact, some Canon’s only record video for 29 min 59 seconds before going into “sleep” mode lol)

no way that was an iPhone?? it looks too Good xD
Haha right! Shout out to apple ig lol
As far as sony cameras go they also shut off, but are still used by most big time streamers on twitch (particularly the A7S). What you gotta do is change the Auto Pwr OFF Temp setting to high and most importantly, use a dummy battery. The reason is those cameras work off of the battery even when plugged in, the battery getting drained, charged all the time. The dummy battery prevents that and until they knew about that and the setting i mentioned, lots of streamers had cameras shutoff mid stream all the time to heat issues. BTW the streamer that first started using DLSR cameras for high quality streams on stream on OBS was Reckful, may he RIP. EDIT: i'll add that if you go for a dummy battery setup, i highly suggest to use the official sony ones as knock offs can be dangerous for the camera. If that is an a6000 then it would be a sony ACPW20
Ahh thanks so much for this, we did indeed get a dummy battery but don't think its Sony's official one, may look to get that instead!
Congrats!
Yay, congrats yall!
Sony personally, but canon is great too
Congrats guys!!

Sick a600!
