Hello, players! I regret to inform you that there has been some complications with the game's code.
After implementing the character profile feature into the game, a game tester informed me that the new feature had likely broken their save file. After a bunch of testings, adding and removing the code a bunch of times, the issue persists, regardless.
I do not know whether this feature will break every save on version 0.2.2, but it is safe to assume as such. However, I would like the character profile to remain in the game, as it could be an essential feature to help my players navigate through the many different characters that have and will appear in the game.
Therefore, I have made the tough decision to release the game as is. Players who are met with a broken game save will unfortunately have to start a new game. I apologise for the inconvenience that I have created, and would like to ask you for your understanding. Thank you for your support, and I promise, I will work hard to prevent something like this from happening again. Thank you for your time.

I think this is the end! Scarlett has won 😱... 🤣! We always knew that, until the game was in stores, each version would be like a beta, so I suspected things like this might happen. Don't worry. Many people forget details at the beginning, and they can replay it. Ren'Py has a quick skip function, so you can get back to where you left off in less than five minutes 😉👍.
Know it doesn't sit well with you, but you'll find most of us would start over anyway. Relax, get it out there and fix it later 👍

Break it... IDC... playing all over is something I'm used to as an AVN player 😎. Lots of Devs do this often 🤭. Perfectly normal, CT. Don't worry about it 👌🏻. Won't discourage us from playing 😉. Plus, there are "skip" or "ctrl" for the people that want to skim through it 😅.
Story is very interesting I am hooked when episode 3 coming
