I've started this Sketch as YCH so character will be changed in colored picture. Is it okay if I post this kind of sketches here before coloring?
I just remember comments in my last YCH Sketch I post here, some people was disappointed by character changing this is why I asking^^

To be honest I caught myself thinking that I feel extremely uncomfortable to urge any from my Patreon supporters to participate in my YCH^^ So if you don't mind I'd like to avoid the answering^^ Please don't take it rude, but I do YCH because I need additional money, and my Patreon is last place I'll ask for it, cuz ask money from people who already supports me is too brazen act^^
I think you only need to add "YCH" to the title and emphasize that this is just a sketch, the final version may have another character doing the same thing the character on the sketch is doing. If you clarify in the beginning that the color version could or will look different, then it's ok what you just said. Btw, anything is ok with me, provided that it comes from you :)
Well... I feel a bit uncomfortable to post it with YCH mark at here because this looks like attempt to earn more money on people who already supports me^^ Plus as I said - sketch is a kind of full picture to me, so I prefer to save it in my sketch gallery without any additional mark. But of course I'll write about it in description)
Escaping the heat is a constant challenge! Looks like she has the right idea though. ^^ Yes, keep posting sketches! I definitely like seeing the sketches. I think maybe what feels disappointing about YCH sometimes is when you see a sketch like this, you already start imagining what it would look like in color. When the character changes to something you were not expecting, it feels a little sad to see the old sketch character go away. So I think as long as they are clearly labeled as a YCH it won't be as shocking. =p Also, I think it has a bit to do with character design. An experienced artist like you often has really nice designs. I almost always find your characters to be attractive. But YCH art usually uses OCs from non-artists, and their designs can feel a bit off. I hope that doesn't sound mean. I just think that might be why. But I'm glad YCH are a thing, because they can help support the artist. ^^
Absolutely agree, water - is best shelter from the heat )) What about your thoughts: I remember I already said it somewhere but the sketch by my opinion - is a kind full picture. I mean that 90% of visual information we get from contrasts. And proper sketch already have all contrasts we need. More over, If we talking about Black and White picture this is even more easy for our brain to "read" the picture so for some people sketch could looks even better than colored pic. When sketch gets color it also changes contrast palette cuz each color have each contrast. Unfortunately sometimes (it depends on color of the character) it could be hard to follow the same contrast I did in sketch because of colors of character I can't change. As result contrast palette could be changed in colored picture, and this new palette could be not so good as previous so our brain understand that previous variant was better. - I think this is main reason. Sorry for a bit of boredom^^ Visual perception is interesting theme to me)
