Archer concept Sketch
I didn't draw just four days but feel like I didn't draw whole year, very unpleasant feeling^^
And just for warming up I decided to draw little sketch concept)
Only now I think that deer hunter looks really strange cuz they are vegans and so they don't need to hunt...
Anyway let's assume this one is forest keeper)
Also, don't know why but I always associated deer with elves^^
Interesting am I alone or someone else thinks that deers have similarity with elves?)

Heh, I agree, to be honestly first I thought about to drew Doe^^ But I never drew anthro male character so I decided to draw male now)

That's an interesting tribal marking on his antler. A Guardian of the Forest!
Honestly I thought about engraving which characterizes his experience. The most experienced hunters will have fully engraved horns. I also think about tattoo if the hunter is doe )
One of my OCs is a pony ranger who hunts with a bow. She mostly hunts carnivorous plants, since there's plenty of those in the Everfree forest. Then she cooks them in a campfire with wild herbs, tasty (and vegan :P )!

That's a nice looking deer! I like his hoof wraps and fetlocks. And I always thought deer were like elves since they usually thrive in forests

Oh, he looks lovely :) Maybe he is defending the forest against wolves, wargs and other baddies? Hmm, the connection might come from the Dryads of Warcraft. Also both creatures are typically connected to the forest (forest elves vs stags/deer).
