Music (Rough Animation)

"Upgraded" animation I've posted before)

And as I said I really love 24 per second frame rate speed, but it makes the work much harder so I "sacrificed" stage of polishing to make more frames.
I am not sure about result. On one hand the animation looks jerky, but in the same time remained sketch lines makes it similar to animation of "old school" I love so much^^

Not sure but at this moment I feel more inclined to last variant.
Anyway, I'll be happy to hear what you think about it)

P.s. Polished Animation with the same speed for comparison

it would be cool if the tail was secondary motion that followed after the body started moving.

I think it’s just the roughing lines that’s causing the jerkiness? Love the animations in any case.

Yes and no in the same time. The fact is that the near lines of frame one to frame two (and so on) the less jerky the animation is. Usually you must do special polishing to reach it. Here I have only sketch (Rough and Refined) but no polishing. I think it will make the animation a little bit smoother without rough sketch but not much cuz Refined sketch isn't clean enough

The key is in what you said: "[the] remaining sketch lines make it similar to the >>old-school<< animation I love so much." It looks pretty close to those pre-90s Disney feature-length cartoons. Bottom line, you're most definitely getting there ^^
