The British Village is DONE! Take a look around 🏡

28 episodes. Over 60 buildings. And it's finally finished.

When I started this series, I just wanted to build a little English village by a river. I kept thinking of new things to add episode by episode, and by the end, it did not stay little 😅

I also didn't do every interior on my own. 35 amazing creators each designed a room somewhere in the village, so every house feels a bit different inside. Who can you spot?👀

The plan was always to make it feel like a real village, one that had grown over hundreds of years rather than being dropped in all at once. So I used a mix of build styles, from centuries-old cottages to modern-day houses.

You can see it best here. The old town is squeezed in along the river, and over the bridge is the new-build estate. That's 49 houses using 8 different designs. If you've ever lived in a British village, you know exactly what this is 😂

But the outside is only half of it… every single building has a full interior too.

Over 60 buildings, and you can walk into all of them. Bedrooms, kitchens, pubs, shops: everything is furnished down to the bookshelves and fireplaces.

And then there are the big ones.

Pemberton Manor is the biggest build in the village: 4 floors, 36 rooms and proper gardens out the back. Down by the railway are the ruins of the old castle, with the workhouse tucked inside the walls. And there are a few secrets underground too… I'm not saying where 😏

Honestly, flying around the finished village after all those episodes was one of the most satisfying moments of the whole series.
