Heresy.
One of the optional bad ending of Ordo Mediare in my imagination.
A female military order, in the end, is hard to be acceptable according to human history.
Just like in all kind of real-world political conflicts, once people find something they can use against the Sisters, and when the situation is no longer on their side, it's all over.

I mean, much like the underground railroad, there are those that would protect them, at great personal cost. But definitely this in the real world. And I think I would be on the side helping them.
My only argument is that in this scenario I imagine the sisters would go down fighting 🥲
Reminds me of the Martyrs of Compiegne. This was 16 nuns guillotined during the French Revolution for not renouncing their vows.
Most notably this happened to the Knights Templar when king Philip IV of France decided he didn't want to pay back his loans. Unfounded accusations of heresy and homosexuality were supported by confessions obtained under torture. Pope Clement, fearing military action from Philip, decided to humor him. Ultimately the order was disbanded, many of its leaders executed, and its wealth transferred mostly to Knights Hospitallier. Ultimately Philip got what he wanted, but in a twist of fate he died shortly after the last Templar leader burned at the stake.
I love this because it instantly stirred emotions. But I hate this, they are blessings upon this world, they deserve better than the real world could offer them. Especially back in that era where if they really did get a following that threatened established powers this could totally be the outcome.
😭😭😭
I refuse to believe that Lucerne would allow herself to be taken and would rather end in the glory of the battlefield
Show me where the good endings are voted for so that I can rig the vote to a righteously heinous degree 😇
Just because human beings have a bad habit of persecuting "the different" and believing dogma (religious or secular) that says "the different" should be persecuted. OR Because some secular individual decided they were getting a little too much power and/or influence in secular matters (see the history of the Knights Templar) ... though, likely a combination of both
Oh, forgot, lovely work as always.
Time to fill your pockets with gunpowder and nails, girls.
That's when the Isekai starts... either fantasy or like Warhammer 40K But there is a sad truth to our realities approach to things. Some humans really suck!
The beacon fire of Amon Din is lit!! To arms, bugler! Sound to arms! We ride to glory!
“If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.”
the ending of the story. A novice, entering the order a few years before the end, and how she captured their story. Escaped the destruction, with her lover, and they made sure to preserve the records. Centuries later, a multi great grand daughter, finds the chest with the collected writings and sets out to restore the order's place in the history of the church. I cannot draw, and am not disciplined enough to write anything, but this is how I see a possible arc for the sister's story.
And suddenly the day turns depressingly dark. 😬
Mass martyrdom like this is the kind of thing that would have major effects down the timeline.
❤️
Half expected something 40k here
I was hoping for Flora with a heavy flamer too 😟.
F*** the Patriarchy.
"If this is how they treat God's good soldiers... then I hope they have enough timber for us all."
I didn't realize how in love I was with the Ordo until I saw this drawing. It genuinely made my heart ache. Well done on tapping my emotions so easily. You have a real gift. That said, if anything happens to those girls, I'll have to burn the offending nation(s) to the ground and salt the earth where they stood.
If Jean d'Arc was a knightly order
And those who would commit such a heinous act would bare the brunt if the furry of thise the Ordo protected
No one can survive the furry 😆
nop, i don't accept this ending , fight for save The Ordo
No!!!!....por favor , no!!!!!
:'(
There is always the people who stand on their side. Let´s rally the troops, we ride at dawn. The Ordo needs help. And we shall answer.
