I view all nunchuks, chain weapons, flails, whips and so forth as basically being 'trap' weapons: So obviously inefficient and prone to self-injury that they're given to new recruits as a test, with the smartest response being to simply hand them right back and say, "No thanks." Face it, the minute you see someone making a video of themselves with nunchuks, its really just a matter of how long before they hit themselves somewhere sensitive.
