Recent status and Merle
September and October are pretty busy for me this year. I have several work and opportunities to deal with, so my "manager mode" is back on, and artist mind has to take a back seat for a while.
Right now, I am trying to gather and train a few amateurs as a team, then gradually hand some projects over to them so I can back to draw.
Looking at myself lately, I feel a bit like Merle put big effort to innovate and militarize the sisters in the Ordo Mediare back stories. Maybe I have put my own work experience into her so much.

Yup. It is a thing. It means it is something you love. Writing a fictional story, the long-running one on my Patreon, the main character acts like a spoilt brat in one place, and he used to give me the sh!its... every time I read over that part, he still does. I wish you all the best with your endeavours.

I can imagine Merle as a “work hard , form a team, let them do what they do best, and achieve a real goal” manager as opposed to a “talk big, play the game, impress the VP and get promoted before any work gets done” manager. (Not that I’m bitter about my time in the corporate world or anything 😁)
