I'm planning to turn most of my posts on Patreon to "free access."
I want to give everyone a heads-up about a major change I will be making to my Patreon.
Over the past year or two, Patreon has been updating very frequently, especially by adding more recommendation and discovery features. It is gradually becoming more than just a platform where people pay to access exclusive content.
I actually really like the direction it is moving in. It fits with a prediction I have had for some time: that the internet may eventually return, at least in part, to something more like the nostalgia Blog era, where creators own the true freedom to design their own content again, no need to worry about the ever-changing AI moderation, or the algorithm. To me, that can become a kind of shelter from being constantly pushed around by the decisions of major tech platforms.
Because of this, over the coming time, I will gradually make all of my past SFW posts to "Free access", and slowly begin treating my Patreon more like an ordinary blog.
After all, the way I have always wanted to run things is to share my work as openly as I can, rather than relying on "exclusive content" to attract supporters. I also do not really want people to support me only because they are chasing content that is locked away from everyone else. However, it takes time, because there are tons of posts need to change, and there's no feature to change all at once.
If, after this change, you still choose to support me, I am very, very grateful.
And if you do not like this direction, or if seeing this post reminds you that you have actually been meaning to unsubscribe for a long time, then please feel completely free to do so. Do not feel any pressure at all. You have already done so much for me, and you always been free to make that choice.
Thank you all so much for your support and encouragement over such a long time. I really love you all. My company is now running very smoothly. I don't have to worry about serious financial difficulties, and my workmates and I are able to devote ourselves fully to expanding what we do.
Besides Ordo Mediare, I am also working hard to promote cultural activities related to European history here in Taiwan. Meanwhile, I am also learning how to become a competent leader.
I want to become someone who can take on greater responsibility and accomplish bigger things, not just a lone-wolf creator. I think that is the best way I can truly respond to the support and expectations you have given me.

I'm completely OK with this. More people should be able to enjoy your art, not just those who can pay for it. Personally, I never thought of my subscription as some kind of transaction. To me it is a patronage of arts. I am not paying for your art, I am supporting you so that you can make art more freely. So I fully support this idea and I'll stay subscribed for as long as I can afford it :)

I love your art. This is the reason I am here. If I can continue to financially support you in your work, I will. I enjoy the way you bring your characters to life, and the way you express the human form in all its beauty.
i follow a number of patreons that make older content free access after a waiting period (often a few weeks or a month) so that the subscribers get a perk but everyone gets to enjoy the produced work. that said, some of them that do art with risque outfits or non-sexual nudity have often found it a bit of a minefield to figure out what can be made free access without patreon's enforcement flagging them.
I'll still support you as an artist. It's worth it.

Holy cow the timing.....I had a yearly subscription for Sergeant that was to renew today and I've been stressing about bills lately. I'll probably change tiers and support agin soon, I was Sergeant because I didn't want to miss anything "very very sensitive content". When I first joined you had tons of regular content with a little spicy content here and there. You've definitely moved towards doing the spicy content more often. It will be interesting to see how things go.

I'm too lazy to adjust my patreon, if I subscribe for a monetary amount, it stays.

No worries. I will keep my position as a freely online artist. I have already reached an agreement with future partners that, moving forward, commercialized works might have to align with public moral standards; however, I will retain complete creative freedom on my own territory, so there is no need to worry about my own work losing its essence.
