I'll stay where I belong.
This place once let the world know me and supported my life and art, thanks to social media. Even if "AI worship" today could drowns out my posts, voices, my value, I won't stop or hide.
Yesterday, while attending Christmas Eve Mass, I was reminded that Catholic is an so-ancient organization that has survived countless waves of human thought, lasting two millennium and still standing today. They hold their core values and repeat the same (boring) practices every week. I truly believe this is a vital belief for any group, or individual to survive. Once you feel you are no longer yourself, it is all too easy to be swept away by the tide.
So, as an artist of a sisterhood, I will persist like the Church do. Even if I am temporarily drowned out by the AI-worship tide, it doesn't matter. As long as I am still alive, when the tide eventually recedes, I will still be there, and you will find me again.

Let the slavering hordes come. Numbers are frightening, but countered by skill and discipline. We've been drawing on cave walls with pigments, perhaps longer than we've mastered fire. Some electronic rocks that pretend to think, and a bunch of gooners, cheap outs, and slaves of instant gratification will never understand the need to make art. Let them come. Let them Fall.

Beautiful and strong words, not unlike the Sisters you create. I truly appreciate your art, your emails are one of the ones which instantly make me smile every time I see one in my Inbox. I enjoy your art, I truly appreciate it is performed by a human being rather than an AI. I am a published author and I know the pressures of AI, they are inserting it into writing programs, presenting "write a book a week" AI writers on social media, and I delete every one I come across. Where is the true sense of achievement when you finish when you know some program wrote it for you? I believe it would be the same as you. So us human beings must continue to create with our own blood, sweat, and tears and prove to the world that: we will not be silenced; we will not stop our arts regardless how pervasive AI becomes; we will continue to make mistakes like only human beings can; and we will continue to treasure the arts created by other human beings.

Someone on FB was circulating this piece of recent art and at first I was like "Aw man that looks so cool but I bet it's just AI" but then I checked and, nope REAL art. And it's very cool. But also: Surprisingly small, in a very dark gallery and everyone is jostling around trying to take photos even though it says "No flash photography. Not selfies." So my advice to everyone is just: Buy the tourist art book. You'll be able to see it better than in person.)
