You’ll play as Harth, the renamable protagonist who lives in a remote frontier village with his friends. As the story unfolds, the simple life that Harth and his friends have always known begins to crumble away as he discovers a deeper purpose.
Refuge of Embers has a wide cast of characters for you to meet and romance. The choices that you make will change how they see you and unlock different endings and flavors for each path. What choices will you make, and who will you end up with?
As you embark on your adventure, you’ll discover tons of stunning hand drawn art that pulls you deeper into the world and narrative. Immerse yourself in beautiful environments with even more beautiful women.
Watch the artwork come to life thanks to professional 2d animation, and of course plenty of spicy animated h-scenes. We use a traditional frame by frame animation style with multiple camera angles and optional x-ray views on h-scenes.
By default the game leans strongly into impregnation as a theme, but that and other content can be toggled on or off in the settings menu at any time. You can customize the game to match your preferences.
The completed game is planned to be out late next year or the year following, but you can support the project here on Patreon in the meantime to get access to current builds. The next supporter build should be out in just a few days and has over 5 hours of unique story across all of the paths and 11 animated h-scenes. It’s our biggest update yet.
