Now that both major parties have endorsed the LNP's new homebuyer scheme, what's the best and most reliable means of home defence against the ravaging hordes that will be roaming the landscape once the economy implodes?

What is the best possible result you can think of for this election? Also, how far will Australia fall short of that?

K
KidNeon · May 10, 2019

Which candidates could you personally best in a deathmatch?

B
Baldimus · May 10, 2019

Is it worth running up to my local LNP member campaigning at peak hour along the main arterial road in my area and egging them?

You’re in the voting booth and you realize you can’t remember who you’re voting for. You can’t even remember HOW to vote! And what’s this? Oh no you’re naked! What do you say to all the onlookers from high school who are now staring at you?

Who gets your last preference? (disregarding Fraser Anning) A) PHON. B) UAP. C) Great Australia Party. D) Love or Australia or Leave. E) Rise Up Aus.

Can you briefly go over smaller or single-issue parties that have won seats in the past?

f

Suggestions: Derryn Hinch's Justice Party, Australian Motoring Enthusiast Party, the Nuclear Disarmament Party as an example of someone quitting the party and taking the seat with them (Jo Vallentine)

will bill shorten actually make anything better when he wins?

What do you think Clive Palmer's end game is? Unless he's vastly inflating his wealth, he doesn't need the money. And I don't buy for a second that he gives three fucks about the average Aussie. Is he running again in the hope that the taxpayer pays for his inevitable escape to Majorca, a la Christopher Skase?

What is the one, totally inane thing you would make a disqualifying trait for running for office. Like, obvs being a racist should be disqualifying, but this is Australia, so it's more realistic to get something in the constitution banning politicians in open toed shoes with socks than anything actually meaningful

How many bigoted candidates do you have to disendorse before you accept that you have a bigotry problem in your party?

Talk about The Great Australian Party because I spent an evening researching them and they’re fucking lunatics

which pollie is the most likely to have been tricked into smoking from a bong that someone had cummed into?

f
flashman · May 10, 2019

Tom Barnett from the Involuntary Medication Objectors Party. As an anti-vaccination candidate who is pro-medical cannabis, we can deduce that he is an annoying prick who would be a likely target for a bong-cum prank https://imoparty.com/Tom-Barnett

Could you explain the preferencing system? I understand the basic idea but not how it works in practice with e.g. parties preferencing each other?
