2REAL App - Overview & Install (Guide)
In this Guide I will show you how to install and use the 2REAL Mod for Assetto Corsa. Also you will learn how to install Traffic and Pedestrian mods - Let's Go!
What is 2REAL App?
2REAL App is a tool to spawn and simulate traffic in Assetto Corsa. The tool is based on csp-traffic-planner and includes alot of mandatory bugfixes and new added features, like police-chase mod, 3d-walking pedestrians mod and much more. The 2REAL App is not only just a traffic tool, it allowes for completely new gameplay features - experience Assetto Corsa like you never have before!
How to Install 2Real Traffic App + Carpack?
To install the traffic app, it is required to have Assetto Corsa (PC only) and Content Manager installed. For Content Manager you need the latest version of Custom Shaders Patch to be able to use the latest version of 2REAL App.
How to install:
First, download 2Real App, (NEW!) Carpack 1.1 and Traffic Mods. Then follow the instructions:
1. Keep downloaded .zip files (2REAL_App.zip, Carpack.zip, traffic mods) in your Downloads or Desktop folder
2. Open 2REAL_APP.zip and extract the TrafficTool folder to your Desktop
3. Open TrafficTool folder on your desktop and DOUBLE-CLICK install.bat
4. Press ENTER to install everything automatically ✅
The installer will automatically install app, carpack and all traffic mods that are placed in your download/desktop folder.
📝 NOTE: Each track needs separate traffic mod files - search "track-name + 2REAL traffic mod". Traffic mod files (traffic.json / pedestrian.json) always have to be put into every /data folder of each track (installer does this automaticly, you can also go ingame and press ''Try To Fix'' button in the 2real App to install downloaded traffic mods automatically)
After install, start game in PRACTICE mode - you should be able to find 2REAL APP in the Taskbar in-game, from there you can make all you traffic settings and change performance / density presets. The app also has an additional score window, and also a new radar-app.

The hamburg 19 has 19 tracks with Sweden, denmark, and hamburg. where do I get the 2real traffic for All of them? I already got the traffic for the Hamburg by 4r (Main)

whats good i just tried installing the app via the batch file and manually but the 2real app wont appear in my apps bar. the batch file did say that installation went right so im not sure what to do next. im on csp 0.3.0-preview212 if that matters

I am having a problem with the app. It shows no traffic data available. Load a map with traffic lanes to see stats. I have added the traffic files to every track in SRP3.0. Any suggestions? Thanks.
can you please add it so you can use the ai traffic in online by v10 or something only that who has the app can see it?? that would be so good
i am having an issue where the cars just suddenly stop or slow down in SRP. not sure if there's any setting i need to tweak or some issue with the mod. does anyone have any idea about hte traffic cars slowing down suddenly in SRP?

Hi I just downloaded everything. I wanted an offline traffic mod strictly for SRP. Currently, all the traffic cars on the highway keep break checking me, cars seem to stop randomly on the highway, and cars are also going through each other. I noticed that on the SRP "Cut Up" version, the cars still switch lanes and the traffic is clear on the right lane which is what I don't want. I read that this should only happen on the SRP "Overtaking" version. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I remember I was subscribed like a year ago, and everything was working fine. I got a new pc so I had to redownload. Is it possible to go to the old previous version that was working normally before? As dumb as it sounds, the previous old version I had downloaded a long time ago was also way less laggy. Is it possible to go back to that working version?
sounds like you have two traffic mods going. I just installed and had an old CSP Traffic planner installed as well. Removed that and the cars driving through others remained. I wondered why 1000 spawned instead of just the 30. Just a thought
Can I use 1.81 in race mode? With v 1.70 it is super funny to race against other AI cars in race mode among all the traffic cars in circuits like Isle of Man!

it was a bug but is fixed now with 1.8.1 update
The traffic mod is so fukin perfect but the only thing is there is a bug with police not chasing. But keep up this work man This stuff your making is truly great fun for a single player exprience

Hey there, just a quick question: Asseto Corsa is compatible VR. So does all of your work will be compatible too with that technology, or does some settings have to been reset specifically ?

I can't figure out how to enable traffic. In the game, Traffic Tool doesn't recognize the configuration. I'm trying to set up traffic for California Highway. I have installed the highway itself and your mods. I downloaded separate traffic for California, but I don't know where to put it. Please help me figure it out. Thank you.
Please see above ''How to install Traffic Mods'' - you need to install the traffic files (traffic.json + surface.ini) in ALL /data folders of the track folder. Then start in practice mode, open the 2real app and it should work fine.
which game mode do I need to choose to have traffic showing up? practice isnt working, traffic neither.
use practice mode, also make sure you put the traffic files for each track in the correct place like described above

make sure you use the latest traffic mods for your maps - only 1 lane covered I assume you have an outdated traffic mod

Hi, I just paid for the subscription only to install the latest version of the 2real app, because supposedly the cars look good in the replays, but that's not the case for me. They look really bad and slow, basically jerking. Any help?
the current replay system still has a few limitations and works better with fewer cars - but, this will be completely overworked with the upcoming 1.8 update. For now best thing you can do is lower traffic car amount.
With CSP version 0.3.0, the only cars that work in the pack are the ones that come separately with three KN5 files and one JSON file. Can you tell me how to create these JSON files for the rest of the cars that come in folders?
no matter what I do the only thing that shows is blank grey surface instead of tool functions. I already deleted tifferent traffic mod files, turned off objects inspector. lua debug is showing some errors that I cant fic no matter what
make sure you use at least csp 0.2.9 or 0.2.10. also sometimes you just need to switch the csp version from 0.2.9 to 0.2.10 or backwards to fix the issue with blank tool.

how do I unintall the traffic app? its messed up my game. I tried reinstalling back ups of previous apps but all my trffic has dissapeared
you can just delete the folder from -> assettocorsa/apps/lua/Traffic-tool. This will clean de-install the complete app and everything related to it.
Is it possible to change or add cars in 2real traffic planer? I would really like to change the police car in to German police car. Or just add it to the vehicle list. Do anyone know?

I made traffic mods for most popular maps - take a look in the traffic mod collection, you usually dont need to make the plans yourself

this should work with 2real app 1.5+, but only works if you not close the race (you have to stay in race and start the replay from there) - replay data currently gets not saved inbetween games
nevermind is there a way to only get traffic in the lane your driving on

When I have cops turned off, the chopper still starts following me at a certain speed and this causes a red light from the chopper to be reflected against the side of the road and my car. How do I turn this off? It's very distracting. Why is the chopper active if I have cops disabled?
there should be a setting either under police settings, or in debug settings, to disable the helicopter completely
Just sub. Does this app work on all tracks ? I'm trying to make it work on Shuto Expressway C1. I did see the app and the Traffic Planner, but there no traffic at all. If CSP mean Custom Shader Pack, I'm using v0.2.11
yes it generally works with all tracks, but you need seperate traffic + pedestrian files for each track. For example if you have 2real traffic app and c1 track, you now only need 2real traffic mod for c1, I did not make one so far for that track, but I think there is traffic mods for it already
I have a replay bug or glitch that keeps happening despite having the latest 2Real 1.7 update having bought the mod a couple days ago. The amount of cars in the replay are about a third of that of the gameplay, their position differs and they lag a lot despite the game not lagging (capped at 62fps). It happens with every car, every camera view on every map no matter what I change. I have reinstalled the mod a couple of times and it hasn't helped. I have also gotten the latest traffic car pack and installed it a couple of times. Maybe it's worth noting that i'm on the 2.12 preview CSP patch. I installed the car pack, but it only spawns the white BMW and the white Alfa Romeo. The traffic planner and traffic control in-game app are there but when i click on them no app window appears. Also the in-game lua debug app tells me 3 errors, but i can't figure out what to do. PLEASE HELP. EDIT 25.07.25: SOLVED. I updated CSP to 2.11.
yes switching csp version will mostly fix it, it should work with every version of csp, but sometimes you need to make a switch once to clear backgroud data, wich can make the tool buggy
i think something with my lua is bugged is that the reason why i cant see traffic i already tried redownloading everything
will the 2REAL APP WORK ON 2.12 preview build ? ive tried it on 2.12 and 2.11 its not working i dont see any traffic from the app

y is my game laggey when i ues the new 1.72
play around with the tool settings, you can lower the renderdistance for example wich can make a huge difference, also try different carpacks, each carpack has different impact on performance.
