I see the beginning of Dominatrix Claire, leather-clad, stern, bullwhip in hand, getting Cubetown's collective attention
After staring at this comic off and on for the last day, I have realized absolutely everyone in panel 3 is squinting, staring, or side-eying at Moray with dismay. Even the AIs are taken aback, and the mom has that 1000-yard stare.
Is it messed up I want to see panel 3 animated? Like, I know how moving, boneless softbodies behave in Blender, and I can not imagine that not being nightmare fuel.
I find the phrase "moving, boneless softbodies" already pretty close to nightmare fuel 😱 Edit: I can't believe I didn't notice the, I believe tribute & tenacious d derived, username before I responded. Very nice.

I'm curious how she isn't constantly rippling from movement, but moreso I think I'm curious how waves move through a 3d object, such as Moray when she lands that (rather impressive) jump. She can't be super viscous or she wouldn't have sprayed out when she sprang a leak. Needless to say we need more Moray lore.

I thought she mentioned it in one of the strips after the call? But yeah I imagine she wasn't expecting Moray to show up naked and leaping while screaming her name and waving while in front of an entire airport.
Cubetown is not acing the interview
I'd be very curious to do the interview if this was how I was met at the airport, just for the laughs. Would make a great story, if nothing else. So get their money out of your trip the best you can, because after all they paid for it and it shouldn't be wasted.
I am here for the cross-universe solidarity with Ruth Lessick. Although I'm not completely sure that Martin actually knows that the Maple Leafs are a real team.

it really makes me wonder what kind of public decency laws there are in this world? like, I imagine that an AI in an anatomically human-standard body would be treated the same as a human, but where does the line get drawn?
That's actually an interesting question. Is she anatomically human-standard and Jeph just isn't drawing that, or does she have a Barbie-doll Anatomy deal going on? I'm kind of surprised the idea of nudist/naturist humantype AIs hasn't come up yet, to be honest. (I half thought that was one of the deals Pintsize was going through with his new body, tbh.)
