And They're Off
let's go

Hey look, they are actually trying to make murder drones a thing in SF. https://youtu.be/-BguChcYsT4 WOW
:(
The song's in my head now, no way I'm sleeping tonight with that perky li'l earworm!
Don't forget the towel.
Hoopy froods, the pair of them.
Because when you make something illegal, it magically creases to exist. Murder is already illegal but murder drones have to be banned separately. That logic is divorced from reality
I'm very confused by your complaints. Are you saying that there's no point in making murder illegal because it wouldn't make all murder stop? Or that people should be allowed to do literally whatever they want until it literally becomes murder?
It's true but he shouldn't say it dot jpg
I'm sure Jeff won't do it (or if he does, it'll be Martin), but plane travel is just associated with being groped by TSA for my trans ass. Once again, though, I'm sure Claire will be fine
Woo! Lets gooo!
Smug Claire in the last panel is so beautiful
It's her slight overbite for me 😍
what did Marten pack, chapstick only?
He's got a suitcase!
And they were never heard from again.
Is murder-drone an actual thing in the QC universe, or is Marten just kidding around? And if they do have them, are they anything like the charming Destroybots in Skin Horse?
Claire clearly isn't very experienced as a traveler, because she is only carrying emergency socks and emergency undies in her backpack. Once I'd had an airline lose all my checked luggage for days, I started also carrying an emergency shirt and often pants in my carry-on bag.
But what about trained murder-mooses?
TBH was kinda hoping the last panel would be a zero-warning transporter beam.
It's HAPPENING…
I am so looking forward to this story arc.
I mean I would HOPE SO
They just need to make friends with a rogue SecUnit, who will then take care of the drones.
The murderbot diaries is such a fun series! I was about to make a similar reference, but you beat me to the punch.
Every tool is a murderbot if what you need is a murderbot.
Murderbot would be insulted by your conflation of bots with drones if Murderbot could summon the energy to care.
Always bring one more day of underwear & socks than you think you’ll need has been my rule. Though, never thought about bringing emergency underwear & socks either. Then again I have IBS. sigh
My rule has been to bring a spare pair _and_ an extra pair, of both socks and underwear, and to have at least one pair of each in my carryon luggage along with a clean shirt. The second day's worth doesn't take up much space.
oh noooo, poor Claire. She hasn’t been through a security checkpoint since transitioning, has she? 😱
Ffffuuuuuu.
I don't see Marten carrying anything. Does this mean Claire is carrying his stuff too? Or is he gonna get half-way to Cubetown and realize he forgot to bring his stuff?
If you look closely, he has has a handle of either a suitcase or a briefcase in the second panel
"Murder Drones" by that name are illegal, but drones that are capable of killing, and are dispatched to kill, are not. It's all about semantics.
Also, aren't drones specifically remote controlled bots? So if Deathbot 9000 was a murder bot, they'd still be OK, because they're self-controlled[1] and thus not a bot. [1] For some definition of controlled. They're much better when nobody's wrong on the Internet about anything they consider important.
…emergency undies?
In case of an early menstrual period, perhaps. Or stress-caused diarrhea.
See, this is why they're *rampaging*. Because they were outlawed and murder-bots demand their rights, too. It's just that their protests are less peaceful and more... murder-y. It's part of their culture.
*coughs in Murderbot* I hate planets, anyway.
And stupid humans, which is pretty much all of them.
Wait, if murderbots are illegal in Canada, how does Deathbot 9000 go see Deathbot 9000's Canadian girlfriend? https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=642
He's a Deathbot, not a Murder Drone. The difference is subtle, but it's still different.
From the revelation that she got an interview request to the actual setting off on the journey, it took three real-life months. I'm honestly happy about that, because I dislike a rushed journey, but at the same time I'm really excited that we're finally getting going.
Is this the first time we've seen Marten in a coat?
Gotta check back to when they played Speed Beer
So murder drones are legal there. Oh dear
Vespa Avenger got in trouble for murder transformers
It's cause Murder Drones are on another planet fighting eachother. If you know, sound off.
Well I sure hope they can build enough doors!
I was expecting "glasses charger"
Plus emergency glasses charger.
That implies that they aren't illegal in the U.S. That tracks.
They're not specifically legal in the US, but they're also not illegal! All you need is $20 for a drone license!
No murder-drones? This trip already sucks...
Oddly enough the murder drones DID all fuck
So weed is cool but genocide via murder robots is a no go? Lame 🙄
Come to New Jersey, we have both
I don't see them carrying any luggage...
Oh wait, there it is.
They're so good for each other 😊
Oh I'm hype for this
laws arent magic, claire
No, but I'd bet on Canadian social norms over laws anyway
cubetown!!!
Can't wait for Moray !
