I have eaten 12 croissants in one day, but not in one sitting. In fact, I had 4 toasted ham and cheese croissants just over an hour ago.

I think I could eat 12 croissants at one sitting, but only maybe once a week.

Fresh out of the oven? I will gladly eat any croissant placed in front of me.

I used to work in a bakery. I could eat a dozen croissants. At least for the first couple of days...

I could definitely eat twelve croissants. Pronouncing the word croissants on the other hand...
