I think her (Roko's) problem is she doesn't know what she looks like yet/ hasn't had a chance to integrate. She's just been copied into the new body. I think Melon has been portrayed as a bit of a weirdo/dingbat (and she is), but she also seems to be very caring and sincere too.
Most dingbats I know personally are the most caring people, even if their lives are raging dumpster fires!
I spent the last half of December wishing people a "Seasonally Appropriate Greeting!" Lots of smiles.
"BODYHUB". I wonder if that's a commercial outlet, or something associated with the insurance company that provides the bodies? I wonder how this will affect Faye. Faye used to work at the robot fights, but she never saw someone quite so flattened, I guess? But Roko comes back, which is something Faye would never do. And now Faye sees robots as more than, well, machines. There's a lot for Jeph to explore here.

This one legitimately made me guffaw. Oh, Melon.
Roko has anatomically correct ears now...
A brief look back shows that she is the only AI character with anatomical ears in current comics... I thought spookybot had them in their character spreed, as at one angle they do, but at another they have the same featureless ear shape of all the rest (though that could be different models of spookybot’s body, so anatomical ears might be a recent advance and applied to some of spookybot already).
Maybe she could use the head as a breadbasket instead?
Depending on how badly crushed it was, it might work better as a tea tray.
Schroeder kept a bust of Beethoven on his piano, but Melon's idea might be just a little bit more on the weird end of the spectrum. And yes, I realized after I wrote that that most of Melon's ideas are on the weird end of the spectrum.

Roko's new body is looking good! Glad that she was able to customise the colours to her liking.
I wonder. Are the colors customizable at the store? Or did she get lucky that this was a color they happened to have in stock? Maybe it’s a standard color for the model? So many questions.
