Crushbot has a popular YouTube Channel : Will It Crush?
It's all fun and games but imagine there was a human walking there instead of Roko. Wouldn't there be additional rules and regulations for heavy bots on the sidewalks?

Well, assuming her head's intact or at least the main processor/memory, Roko's gonna be getting a new body for Christmas! And, Crushbot's insurance is going to be paying bank for the new body...at least $31,000,000. (How much the Six Million Dollar Man would cost today with inflation...)
$6 million may have indeed inflated to $31 million, but the technology has improved dramatically, while the cost of the technology has dropped exponentially. For example, a personal computer that was barely a glorified calculator (and was the size of a Buick) was well over $10,000 in the early '70s. Now you can get a handheld device with hundreds of times the computing potential for only a few hundred dollars. She could probably get a military-grade chassis (without the classified military-issue extras) for under $100,000. However, the worst part here - that no amount of money could remedy, if her chassis is beyond repair - is that she has had the same chassis since she was "born". No replacement chassis will provide her with the same level of body integration.

The fact that jokes are still being cracked in the final panel means Roko's fine, tho her chassis might be another story altogether. Given how integrated she is with it, though, this could be an interesting arc.

Ouch! Of course, Faye and Bubbles will be able to put Roko together, but with how integrated Roko is with her body, it is definitely going to be hard for her. Remember how she was when she had to get the joint in her foot fixed. Right. I think this might be a bit of a doozy for them. She might need to get a loaner chassis while the work is done. Luckily for her, Momo has a spare and Faye is a phenomenal robotics mechanic.
I'm not sure what I was expecting when I "heard" the WHAM, but it wasn't that! That being said, I liked the protective stance that Bubbles instantly took.

I'm sure Roko will survive this, but she's sustained a lot of damage and I'm not sure what insurance policy she has. When she was with the police they'd fix this, but she might be stuck with the same bargain basement chassis May has.
Does the QC world have COBRA? If so, she might still be under her police plan. Which leads to the question: do other countries have universal AI health insurance? Should Roko follow Jeph to Canada?

On the one hand, as long as the processor which holds her mind is not crushed, they can build her a new body. However, Roko has such a psychological connection to her body, its loss and replacement may break her in unforeseen ways. Expect a major personality shift: anything from more apathetic than May to sweeter than Momo to more twisted than Pintsize. Possibly a change in gender identity, depending on what Faybles can throw together as a loaner.
