I was going to say that this would be the first time a QC character had a pet, but then remembered <a href="http://questionablecontent.wikia.com/wiki/Mieville" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Mieville</a>, and had completely forgotten that Sven has <a href="http://questionablecontent.wikia.com/wiki/Princess" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">a cat</a> too. First dog though.

I'd consider it unlikely, solely because it is apparently not chipped. Someone who breeds champion dogs for a living will definitely have all dogs chipped as soon as possible. It's possible the chip has failed somehow, but I'm not sure how likely that is.
I'm honestly surprised Dora came alone and that Marten didn't tag along. It would have been such a cute relationship moment if the two exes came to pick up their stoned current SOs

He and Ms. Augustus have a fight to the death that morphs into a meet-cute.” Second choice “Owner shows up, sees Claire’s mom, shouts “Angelica!” (Or whatever her name is). They dated in high school. On a happier note, if you are looking for a dog that will love you from the moment you scratch her ears, adopt a racing greyhound.
And there are going to be thousands that will be available, in the next year or so, thanks to Florida banning greyhound racing!
I can see where this is going. The dog’s real family shows up. They are adorable, especially their little girl. She misses her doggie so much. They will be so grateful to get their dog back Claire’s mom can’t let on that she is devastated. But she is. Bittersweet ending.
