So does she still have 2 million followers? And are they still following her just long enough to see if she follows through? Some people are really dicks - and hiding behind internet anonymity so no one will go after them for it. Hmmm.... Yay, we have a little job for you.

I was going to ask how many people actually read tabloids for real that would also engage on the platforms that Ahn uses, but (1) all it takes is one person with a big enough platform who wants to get views, even at the (or especially at the) expense of someone else, (2) Ahn's face and that story is literally sitting in the check-out lines of every grocery store in the country, (3) most people only read (and react to) headlines, counting on their favorite influencers to actually tell them the best bit of the attached story, and (4) those influencers are going to twist the story to make the narrative fit whatever their agenda is (or just make shit up).

Aaaaand once again I am reminded of why I love/hate the Internet. Also humans. Blarg.

We've had to google internet slang for years, and we declare ourselves Not Old Yet.

Kiss your Sister

S

Kiss your sweetie?

D
Dany · October 7, 2026

I had to google what it means, does that mean I‘m officially old? 🤔

V
ValdVin · October 7, 2026

If you got kicked off the library computer for searching it, like some of us were, yes. Yes, it does.

Kiss your Sh*t

2 girls 1 cup?

D
Dean Reilly · October 7, 2026

Knitting her scarf is a good idea. Her neck probably gets cold now.

B
Bookbeard · October 7, 2026

Now if only there was someone she knew who could teach her to knit... https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2903

Keep your sanity. (Assuming such a thing is even possible.)

S
Sparky · October 7, 2026

Oh … okay … so … She could claim she’s clearing out phony followers & worse from her web presence. After all, only the addition to rent money & shoes matter. I see no downside. She is just as sheltered as most her age. I’m angry no mom or Aunties aren’t dropping off stacks of cash to Faye & Bubbles.

C
Call me Ishmael · October 7, 2026

Kiss your sweetie!

Knuckle your Strawberries?

e
eddi_TBH · October 7, 2026

That didn't go as planned.

B
Bookbeard · October 7, 2026

All things considered, I think I'm glad Faye departed before this conversation. She may be outwardly less sensitive to the topic these days, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. (Faye's history, for those that need a refresher. Warning: wordy and very dark) https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=501

e
eddi_TBH · October 7, 2026

That whole arc shows Faye in a new light.

B
Brendan Luster · October 7, 2026

kiss your snout

G
Graydon Armstrong · October 7, 2026

Took me a sec with the space.

D
Dalmeir · October 7, 2026

I see some people saying this sensitive topic is being used as a punchline, when in reality the punchline is Bubbles' misinterpreting Anh's self-censorship. Jeph is already softening the language while tackling a topic that happens near constantly online. The joke wouldn't work without a topic serious enough to make Anh self-censor, and given this is the most common approach to cyber-bullying and harassment, it fits well. Imo it was handled tactfully.

B
Bookbeard · October 7, 2026

I agree. He is realistically depicting a regrettably common phenomenon, and I don't see a way to handle it much more tactfully while still doing so accurately.

V
Veronica Jane · October 7, 2026

Oh god, is that really how the kids are saying that these days?

B
Bookbeard · October 7, 2026

Yep. On the occasion that I make the mistake of venturing into a publicly accessible chat, "kys" is a depressingly common reaction to relatively minor disagreements. Basically, the internet was a bad idea.

J

Ooft. Poor Anh 😞

S

Kegel your s....*blinks*....Oh that's filthy

M
Miyaa · October 7, 2026

If this is like most tales, Anh Dang will involuntarily go into social seclusion having lost her followers and her subscriptions. She eventually learns real physical skills (not that social media wrangling isn’t a real skills) that puts her on another dimension. But QC isn’t like most tales.

K
Ken Carlile · October 7, 2026

Suddenly I feel bad for Ahn. This has not happened before.

G
Gary Levine · October 7, 2026

Kringle your Santa?

S
Sean Kinlin · October 7, 2026

Ugh. Poor Anh. Nobody deserves that.

A
Ailadi · October 7, 2026

Maybe certain IRL billionaires. Not our Anh.

S
Steve DeGroof · October 7, 2026

Knead your sourdough, obviously.

B

Keep your internet drama away from Brad! It sets a bad example! https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=3961

Dad's media manager's been busy.

e
eddi_TBH · October 7, 2026

There's a possibility I hadn't considered. Her old man's petty and mean enough though.

K
Katrina Urmson · October 7, 2026

Awwww, Anh. :(

D
Drazi · October 7, 2026

Ahn, get with the times. Im told the "in" term is "unalive". Although Jeph, I say this with the best intent... trigger warnings for any of your followers who have issues with this is always a nice touch. Especially when it's being used as a punchline.

Zig Justice · October 7, 2026

As of the time of my leaving this reply, this is the only comment that enabled me to understand what the abbreviations meant.

I mean if anyone is entitled to kvetch (about) her situation, it’s… well a lot of people, but sure, her too.

V
Vilinda · October 7, 2026

Never do that!

R
Randall Norman Pick · October 7, 2026

I'm a little impressed that many people read the tabloid or had time to get to the article around the paywall.

J
Jason Wotzko · October 7, 2026

You're surprised that followers who listen to callout drama, also read about drama in a tabloid? You're right, reading is a stretch

J
Jose Alfredo Villalobos · October 7, 2026

W

N
