Jeph draws beautiful ladies really well (this is not a universal talent - I am still reading one strip and gave up on another years ago where you could barely tell female faces from male ones) but she looks especially sweet in the first half. Pintsize of course restores her to her more accustomed grumpy demeanour.
Pintsize is getting a nice char on that toast tho.

Sure, with a flamethrower. Because Pintsize is a military-grade chassis there are so many things that he won't even notice, but he likes the tickle of a flamethrower.
