Hanners is nice but not THAT nice

Is that a "seriously?! come on!" I don't do hugs stance, or a martial arts "I REALLY don't do hugs!" combat stance?
Shes been working at Coffee of DOOM for a while, and friends with both Dora and Faye for much longer, I think at this point the safe assumption is 'martial arts combat stance'.
Am I the only one thinking Taffy just manipulated her way back into the job? A few sniffles and some melodrama about the ocean, and she’s a PA again.
Maybe? I suppose I assume someone's being sincere until they prove otherwise.
Oh, well, that resolved, I guess.
I will be so sad if Hanners ever becomes a hugger.
Hugger the Horrible?
I love Hanners! <3
WHERE DID THE COAT COME FROM
Tilly is holding it in panel 2
Oh shit, am I the only one seeing this? That this whole scenario taught Hanners how to be a good boss? Firm yet compassionate? IT'S WHAT HER MOM PLANNED THE WHOLE TIME!
I sincerely doubt Hanners' mother would have included "compassion" in her list of laudable leadership traits. She once tried to buy and demolish a mall out of spite.( <a href="http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=917" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=917</a> )
This one? <a href="http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1988" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1988</a>
So I got to clicking ahead and ended on <a href="http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1999" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">this one</a>. The 3rd panel looks like it's foreshadowing how AI react to sniffing tea.

Speaking of Hanners & drumming, does anybody remember which comic it was in when it's revealed she's doing a stupid complex/fast beat when there was a trick she could have used as a cheater? I think it was one of the first semi-animated comica Jeph did..mm
I bet Hanners' dad could whip her up a nice little portable force field to keep away unsuspecting hugs.
Or Gavia's force field... oh wait wrong time period... and universe.
Awwww
