Yeah, Sam did something that caused a flare that washed out all shadows. Also why Faye's glasses went white (reflecting the flare).
So... somewhere between turning on a bright light, or opening a radioactive storage vault. They really need to make those kid-safe don't they.
Why hasn't the third panel got any shading? ...is it Sam's fault?
I'm guessing it was a thing of them being horrified because she could've gotten badly hurt due to how she was acting.
I had a pair of short shorts and had to be careful the underwear I wore wasn't longer so I can sympathize.
... I fully encourage Bubbles in the use of shorts that are a size too big for her. It's not like she needs all that extra mobility! <_>
