I Have Known You | v5.01 Dev Report | August 2026
Hey patrons!
It’s time for a short progress report for I Have Known You.
Work on Chapter 5 has started, and I already have 247 new renders ready for the next update.
So far, I have completed:

1 animation
5 scenes
The next update is already moving forward, and my current plan is to prepare a new build once I reach around 500–600 renders, depending on how the scenes grow during development.

As always, I don’t want to rush it, but I also don’t want to make you wait too long between updates. So once I have enough content ready, I’ll prepare the next build for release.
Walkthrough Bonus Code Update
I also decided to make the Walkthrough bonus code available to all tiers that receive the build.
Originally, the walkthrough was planned as a higher-tier bonus feature, but I decided it would be more fair if everyone who gets the update can use it.
So from now on, if you have access to the build, you will also have access to the Walkthrough bonus code.
You can turn the walkthrough on or off in the settings after unlocking it.

Well, just like Jonathan, I haven't finished my homework either 😅. The teacher will either fail or punish us 😱! I have made progress though, I just haven't finished the game yet. I think I'm missing the end of Chapter 3 and all of Chapter 4 (or maybe just the whole Chapter 4). Once I've finished, I'll send my list. I should mention that there are very few bugs, and almost all of them are minor typos. Jonathan's phone version does seem to have more serious interface bugs 😅, but the PC version is fine in that regard. According to the Steam page, the full game will comprise 8 Chapters, with the first 3 Chapters complete in the build to be released in September. Dotty wrote here that he started with Chapter 5, which means we're halfway through 🥳!
Damn, Picker! No worries at all, there is no pressure. :) I’m glad you didn’t catch any big bugs. You would probably notice something was off before Chapter 4 if there was one. :) Yeah, I was afraid I would need to redesign the UI for Android… but it seems like it’s necessary. The next update will be the first part of Chapter 5. I’m not sure there will be exactly 8 chapters, since the latest two chapters are much bigger than the first two. But I believe we just crossed the halfway point of the game. :)

Hey Jonathan! No problem at all with the Android build. Do it when you have time, there is no pressure from my side :) It’s not Nicole, it’s actually the redesigned Cairo, but she has the same hair I used for Nicole, so the hair makes her look like Nicole. :P For all the Nicole lovers, here is a similar character. :) Stay safe, Jonathan, and enjoy this hot summer!
