I Have Known You | v4.03 Dev Report — Good News, Bad News, and Release Date

Hey patrons!

After more than a month of being fully focused on development, I finally have some good news and one small piece of bad news.

First, I want to apologize for the lack of proper progress reports lately. I know I’ve been quiet for a while, but I was trying to stay as focused as possible while I was deep in development.

My main focus was to make all of these features work together properly, but I think I fell into the trap of trying to make everything perfect before releasing it.

And as we all know, that’s not really how life - or development - works.

The journey system and character profiles turned out to be more complex than I expected, especially while I was also working on new renders and scenes in parallel. Because of that, I lost more time than I originally planned, and instead of delaying the whole build even further, I decided it was better to release the new story content now and continue polishing those features separately.

And now, the good news:

The new build will be released tomorrow, May 15, 2026!

This update became much bigger than I originally expected. What started as a smaller follow-up slowly turned into one of the biggest updates so far, especially because of the amount of story content, NSFW content, animations and branching choices.

v4.03 - What’s Included

In this update, the Black Witch’s influence is becoming more intense than ever.

As the Candle Festival gets closer, Agnes’ presence is slowly starting to take over Wildflower. What was once only a shadow in the background is now becoming something much harder to ignore.

In this update, you will begin to see the effect her influence has on the people of Wildflower - how it changes them, how it pushes them, and how the town itself starts to feel like it is slipping into something darker.

The festival is only a few days away… and Agnes is getting stronger.

This update includes:

• 1144 renders

• 20 animations

• 13 scenes

• 5 NSFW scenes

• A major branching moment for the Judy path

• Story progress for Lisa, Rose, Amy, Ashley, and Judy

• Updated GUI

• Many more meaningful choices

During this development period, I also worked on part of the final section of Chapter 04, which currently includes:

• 323 renders

• 25 animations

• 5 scenes

However, that part still needs more work and testing, so I decided not to include it in this update. It should be released with the final Chapter 04 update, v4.04.

The Bad News

The bad news is that I’m still having some issues with the journey system and character profiles, especially when it comes to making them work properly with old saves.

Because of that, those features will not be available in this version yet.

I’m still working on them, and once everything works the way it should, I’ll release an updated version of this build with those features included.

I don’t want to rush them and risk causing problems for players, but I also don’t want to ask you to wait any longer before playing the new story content. I know many of you have been looking forward to this update, so I decided to release the build.

Pay attention, in this build, you’ll begin to see how the Black Witch’s presence affects Wildflower and its people, as her shadow slowly starts taking over the town.
