I Have Known You – v4.02, Dev report
Hey everyone!
I hope you have spent an amazing holiday season with your family and loved ones ❤️
Damn, this was an amazing year. In 2025, we achieved so much, and I’d like to highlight a few key moments.
#1. We created around 6,000–7,000 renders this year. That’s roughly 600 renders per month, which is honestly incredible progress.
#2. We published our first game, Carnal Contract, on Steam - and more than 20,000 of you bought it there. The game currently has almost 160 reviews and sits in the Very Positive category. Knowing that 20,000 players enjoyed the game truly makes me happy.
#3. Our Patreon community grew to over 4,000 members. Thank you so much, I honestly never imagined our games would receive this level of support and attention.
#4. Our second game, I Have Known You, got its Steam store page approved! If you haven’t already, make sure to add it to your wishlist!
As we step into a new year, we’re full of plans, motivation, and dedication to making I Have Known You the best game it can be. So let’s dive into the latest development update!

I still need to complete one more scene and make a few animations. After that, we’ll be ready to prepare the update.

It’s still a bit early to lock in a fixed date, but my current estimate is around 2 weeks until the build is ready for you to play.

Additional Improvements in Progress
Besides the main story and renders, we’ve also been working on improving other aspects of the game:
UI Updates
I’ve made several visual improvements to the game’s interface, including menus, preferences, and overall presentation.

Each character will now have a dedicated profile screen featuring:

Free roam
Each night before the MC goes to sleep, there will be optional free roam content. You’ll be able to walk around the house, explore, and unlock additional content.
This won’t be story-critical, so it’s completely optional but it adds more immersion and rewards exploration.
These additional systems are still a work in progress and not fully finished yet. I’m developing them whenever I have extra time, as story and new renders remain the top priority 🙂

Welcome back, Dotty! Here's to another great year 💪😎👍! 1. I bought Carnal Contract, but I always forget and never wrote a review on Steam. I must do so, even though I wanted to try another in-game route too 👍. 2. Regarding the previews, we see that the mystery continues to deepen, with the addition of fog 😶🌫️. Then Judy scratches our chests and makes us bleed 🩸, and a Witch crosses her path as a punishment 😲😆. 3. Dotty, the link you provided in the post is for version 4.01, not 2.01 😅. 4. The addition of the image gallery and diary is great for me, especially since I always forget the names of secondary characters! 5. From the moment the game began, I was intrigued by that house and the secrets that the grandfather might have hidden within its walls 😮. I suppose the new free roams (not Free Rooms 😅) will be for discovering secrets like that. Have a great weekend!
Hey Picker! Let’s make some beautiful content this year too! 😄 When you have the time, leaving a review really helps a lot. And thank you so much for supporting me on Steam as well! Yeah, Chapter 4 will be a very important chapter. It’s where things start to become clearer for the player after all the mystery and clues from the earlier chapters. You’ll also be seeing Judy more and more Oh damn, even I forgot which version was last published 😄 It’s fixed now, v4.01. Thanks for pointing it out! After all those polls where I asked you to vote, I decided to create the character profile system. This way, you’ll always know which interactions you’ve had with each character and where your progress with them currently stands. The main idea for free rooms is that you’ll be able to find items and unlock extra scenes or renders that add context to the story or those items. Many of them old grandpa or your old items :D The second idea is to include some extra lewd content, if you want, you might even be able to be a little naughty while other girls are sleeping in the same house (Amy and Ashley) 😏 Thank you so much for the feedback, comments, and for pointing out mistakes in my posts. I had a nice two-day break for both weeks. But unfortunately… that means I also lost two days of pay for both 😅. And with how much I spent during the four months (Oct/Halloween 🎃👻, Nov/Thanksgiving 🦃🍽, Dec/Christmas 🎁🎄, and Jan/HNY 🎆🎇). Every paycheck counts 🤣.
