Carnal Contract: Where Myth Becomes Reality

Hey Patrons,

we wanted to share a little background about what inspired Carnal Contract. Here’s the story behind the myth that shaped our game.

When you first step into Carnal Contract, it might feel like pure fantasy — a seductive game where the main character is trapped, forced to complete lust-filled challenges delivered straight to his phone. But behind every forbidden temptation lies something far older than imagination.

This story was born from an ancient civilization

Over 3,000 years ago, the Minoans of Crete ruled the seas of the Aegean. They built palaces of impossible size, filled with frescoes of bulls, rituals, and goddesses. Their language, Linear A, remains undeciphered — a mystery frozen in clay. We do not know their true myths. We do not know their gods. All we know is what came after.

When the Minoans disappeared, the later Greeks told stories to explain their ruins. They spoke of King Minos, son of Zeus and Europa, who demanded tribute from Athens. Of his cursed queen Pasiphaë, whose unnatural desire birthed the monstrous Minotaur. And of the Labyrinth — a maze so vast and inescapable that no man could survive it without divine help.

In those myths, young men and women were sent inside labyrinth as sacrifices. Some say they died. Others say they were forced into taboo ceremonies in front of the beast.

But what if the story never truly ended?

In Carnal Contract, we imagine a world where the cult of Minos never vanished. Where the “Minions of Crete” preserved their forbidden games in secret, passing them through generations. Their labyrinth has changed shape — no longer a palace of stone, but a web of control, power, and lust. Their monster no longer wears horns, but hides in the shadows of desire.

And the sacrifices?

They are the ones, like you, who accept the contract.

Every SMS challenge is a ritual reborn. Every task is a thread leading deeper into the labyrinth. And every choice you make decides whether you emerge free… or remain a prisoner of temptation, just as countless souls once were in Crete.

This is not just a story of fantasy. It is the rebirth of ancient myth, retold in our time.

Before I buy this. Is there a built in mod?

Hey, there’s an option to change relationships inside. Other mod features aren’t built in. Which specific feature of the mod are you interested in?

I made the mistake of buying your game at the same time as Baldur's Gate 3, and because of that, I still haven't finished it 😅. Now that you've finished it, you must feel more relieved making just one game, right?

Oh yes, I’m still spending half the day working on Carnal (translations), but I’m excited to speed things up with IHKY and everything around it. A big list is waiting for me, and I feel like I’ll have all the time in the world to make it perfect. At least before the next part of CC starts (if it does).

I never doubted, even for a moment, that you already knew all of that ❤️

Hi, I always say one thing about games: they're not just games. There's always more to them than just playing, you know? For those who think only perverts like this kind of game, well, this one also has a great story. Congratulations, Dotty! You did a great job! By showing your research, you've also proven that there's always more to a simple game. Games also bring us knowledge and culture, as long as a person pays attention to the game they're playing. Take care.

Hey! Thank you so much for this thoughtful comment! Yes, games are never just games. They can tell stories and share knowledge if we take the time to notice. I’m really glad the story resonated with you beyond the adult side of the game. That balance is exactly what I was aiming for. We’re building the stories in both of our games around different myths. I Have Known You also follows this idea, but I can’t share too much without spoiling anything. :D Thank you again for the kind words and support 💜
