Patch Repair

Maxis released a new patch 31 Oct 23, this patch fixed a typo in one of the tuning files which caused some issues with both Basemental Drugs and Basemental Gangs.

Download the latest and repaired versions of both mods underneath.

Whats To Come

I am still working hard on a new separate standalone mod that will ultimately work in conjunction with both Basemental Drugs and Basemental Gangs. The work on this mod has taken longer than I anticipated, but it is right around the corner. If luck will have it it should be out by the end of this week.

Know that I appreciate your patience and support. Much love to each and everyone of you guys!

Venue List

To make sure this mod works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List. I also recommend updating it whenever there is a new mod version out as I constantly add in new custom venue compatibility from other mod authors.

Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.

Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)

  • Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.*

  • Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.

  • Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.

  • Choose which Optional Packages you want included.

  • Delete your localthumbcache.package

* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Drugs folder.

Basemental Drugs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)

  • Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.

  • Download the Basemental Drugs zip file.

  • Unzip the Basemental Drugs zip file.

  • Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.

  • Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.

  • Delete your localthumbcache.package
