Patch 1.222.218 - All Clear!
UPDATE:
The Sims 4 patch released 23rd of March 2026 did not break any of my mods either. This was a minor patch to fix the remaining bugs and issues left over from the last two patches.
Post from 18th of March 2026:
Maxis released a new hotfix patch today, 1.122.212, which fixed the issues that were impacting CC and mods.
I’ve tested everything, and none of my mods are affected. You are good to keep playing as normal.

I Lost everything My crops, the shops, traits. it says the mod is loaded and i get no menus. I have the latest version, even redownloaded and reinstalled it

Hey one of my sims suddenly stopped getting moodlets after smoking a blunt. Any idea what causes this? It worked a few days ago and I have not downloaded any mods recently. Any help is appreciated thank you

Hi! Basement Gangs not loading, only drugs mod works. Drugs work perfectly, but gangs don't initialize. i never get the notification, but it is in the list at start. the gangs menu is missing from pc and sims. i downloading different version but the problem is the same. i have a Gambling mod, but the lot type is only as 'Casino', not illegal...the mafia lots appear but they are not playable! can you help me please?

Download Basemental Drugs 8.18.237 underneath here. The Dustbound Fairies package is a part of Basemental Drugs, so just download and install the latest version
Is it possible to get a dispensary license with a small business instead of a retail business?
My game won't open with the latest download, is there another one?
It has nothing to do with the latest download of the mod, it is still some buggy behavior from Maxis' side of things apparently. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an universal fix for this, but a few things you can try which has been working for some people: First try restarting the app, if that doesn't work, then try a game repair. If that doesn't work, try temporarily removing any custom lashes you may have. And finally someone said clearing the game cache worked for them. Good luck!
Why are my raves ending early? my sim gets there and then it ends after theyre only there for a couple minutes

what does a hotflix patch mean?
A hotfix patch is basically a quick fix that gets pushed out to solve a specific problem right away. It’s not part of the usual update schedule, just something the developers rush out when something important breaks or needs fixing fast, so people can get back to normal without waiting for a full update.

OK now I need to know... What is the deal with the market? Are they going to allow independant creators like you to still create outside the market?
The Marketplace is a marketplace for official Makers pack and kits, according to the posts they made about this, it won't change in terms of creators still offering paid early access and free mods elsewhere.
Every time I get my mods n cc working, they go n mess with the game n make it all not work😒😤
Soooo..................... just when they released paid mods, suddenly a "bug" has broken all free CC and mods. Curious.
I am not subscribing to these tinfoil hat theories. It is not the first time a patch has broken CC and mods and a fix is being worked on.
And of course my game will not allow me to play it offline.
if using steam to update you can go offline on steam and be online on ea
