This version is basically full of hot-fixes and added settings that you can disable or enable to suit your playing style.

How it works

Parental Reactions

Click on your Teen sim, choose "Basemental Drugs" > "Settings" > "Parental Reactions" > "Turn Off Parental Reactions" to disallow parents, grandparents, uncles or aunts to yell at your Teen for being high. To turn it back on, do the same as previously described but click "Turn On Parental Reactions".

Phone Calls

Click on your playable drug dealer, choose "Basemental Drugs" > "Settings" > "Phone Calls" > "Turn Off Customer Phone Calls" to disallow customers calling to buy drugs. To turn it back on, do the same as previously described but click "Turn On Customer Phone Calls".

Stop Selling

Click on your NPC Drug Dealer (with the CAS trait) choose "Basemental Drugs" > "Drug Dealing" > "Stop Selling - WhicheverDrugYou'reSelling-".

MDMA

After having a non-fatal OD now, you can not do any more drugs until you have been riding out the crash.

Ask to Exchange Sex for Drugs

This option is now disabled for Sims who are lovers, lovebirds, engaged or married with the CAS trait Drug Dealer as this did not make sense.

Weed

The Stoner Buff is now changed from a Happy to a Dazed Buff, due to the nature of Happy Buffs and how they boost other buffs.

Other

Vampire Sims can not OD on drugs anymore. Not with a fatal outcome at least. I have no option of testing this as I don't have the Vampire EP, so I will have to rely on you guys reporting back to me if this works or not.

I also added in grandparents, uncles and aunts in the "Yell at Teen for Being High" interaction. So, steer clear of those elderly family members if your Teen Sim is coming home with bloodshot eyes.

Glitches Fixed

Cocaine, Speed and MDMA now have a preferred standing posture. Which basically means that your Sim will get up from a chair to do the drugs. The standing posture is required for the animation to play, so this had to be sorted out.


Installation Instructions

  • Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.

  • Download Basemental Drugs v1.08.2

  • Unzip Basemental Drugs v1.08.2

  • Place the unzipped files in your Mods folder.

  • If you experience issues with Buying or Selling -
    place basementaldrugs.ts4script directly in your Mods folder.

  • Enjoy the drugs
