Hello everyone!
As many of you probably know, I'm a huge fan of story-driven games and visual novels, especially those that feature character development, moral choices, and corruption paths.
Over the years, I've played a lot of them and discovered a few absolute gems. Unfortunately, many of my favorites ended up being abandoned before reaching their conclusion...
That got me wondering: have you ever fallen in love with a game, visual novel, or story that was never finished?
Which one was it, and what made it so memorable for you?
I'd love to hear your recommendations—and maybe discover a few hidden gems I missed along the way! Who knows, some of them might even inspire future projects :)

A wife in Venice and, yeah, Having a hard time
Yes A Wife in Venice was good!
The Humbling Experience. Did you play it? At one point, it was one of the most popular games in the corruption genre. Great storytelling, jokes, and the slow, sensual corruption of the heroine. When the game was abandoned, a lot of people were disappointed and hoped it would come back. The story development and the gradual breaking down of the heroine’s moral barriers were brilliantly done.
Never heard of that one, but your description makes me want to check it out! Sadly I just saw it's RPGM... these games just kill the immersion for me, I can never get into them. If there's ever a Ren'Py adaptation, I'd be glad to give it a try!

There was an incredible game called "Lost at Birth" that, unfortunately, the developer appears to have abandoned, most likely due to personal circumstances. Ever since, the community has been desperately hoping that a capable developer will one day continue the story... Well... just an idea. 🙂

Katie's Corruption by 3Diddly. Yes, it was "finished", but it was rushed when the dev came back from ghosting. I liked it because of the mechanic where the MC gathers points for experiencing certain events, and then at particular checkpoints could decide what to do with that experience: be more true to herself or to allow events to change her. Conscious choices on her part. Also, body modification without going full bimbo. Project SAGE by Paperwork. Massive amounts of choices and content in each release. Female MC was confident and self-aware, but had a secret that others knew about, but she did not. Loads of corruption scenarios and pretty great HS art for the time.

False Hero by Enyo had beautiful characters that were well written. Would love to see that game finished.
Happens to so many games. But for me the biggest loss was LISC. Had all the ambition and quality to be one of the greats, up there with Being a Dik. But sadly the dev has been totally silent for over a year.
Esoterica, Having a Hard Time, Such a Sharp Pain, Apocalypse, ... too many bite the dust, lots because of ever stricter lawfare against AVN's sadly.
Such a Sharp Pain is definitely too....yeah. I can understand why that one got the axe everywhere and no one sells it. Characters were WAY too young. Shit was fucking gross. Put all those people on a watchlist, for real lol

Shot In The Dark..but he had a good reason, Having A Hard Time...Creator has been radio silence for the last 8 months, and Summers Gone. Season 1 was released 3 years ago.
I tried reaching out to the dev of Having a Hard time and no response, shame was the story was just reaching its peak.
A Couples duet of Love and Lust. Probably the best NTR/NTS game ever.
Look for a creator called Frozen Synapse. They are currently making a game called Luna Reloaded. Except they never finished the original, or 2 other games.
Yes I know this one and I am following it. Afaik Luna Reloaded is still in progress, I saw an update not long ago. Was his other works good?
There was a game called Lexi by Chatterbox, which I really wish was completed.
