It's sometimes hard for me to come up with answers for the tried and true "dig up old character from ten years ago and ask what's going on now" type question. But sometimes inspiration strikes, anyway. Alexander was from the comic "Lenore" from 2013, back when I could get away with a horse that had only one fur color, plus hair.

I think it deals with the emptiness of the sex; Alexander seems to be looking for something with a deeper emotional connection of give and receive, not just physical indulgence.
