Comic Rewards 07-05-2023 Part 2
The trials and tribulations of Brooke's brother, Jalen, now begin. I was just able to get the first page of that comic done before it was time to upload. But it establishes what it will be about pretty succinctly.

That's the wrong hole. :P
As they say in the US Navy; "there is no such thing as the wrong hole"
pawing off helps
Don't get me wrong (as I do love your comics), but I rather hoped for some artistic shorts. Yo know, like the ones in the past with a lot of text or no text at all. Diaries, manuals, the "O-natomy" and so on. The pages were less focused on the traditional comic frames. But then again - it might be just me. :-) <3
The lot-of-text ones probably won't happen. One thing I've been trying to ensure I do with my comics is more show and not as much tell.
I’m so excited for this comic. I love Jalen’s body type and design.
Lynne got a lot of investment (deservingly so) , penny got the spotlight, Trixie got two major features in HYRF and FON. While I thought all of these were exquisite and awesome in their own way it’ll be nice to see the perspective of a less exposed character for some time. Im HERE for the ride
He looks very pretty here, I like his hair! Also I’ve always liked how different animal groups in your world correspond to different human ethnicities based on where the species originated from. It just makes sense to me. Like, of course raccoons are Native American, they’re an American species!
Specifically Cherokee.
Helllll yeaaaaa, time for the brother to shine!
Oh !!! We get to see her brother !
Curious to see where this one goes.
The spirits of the forest only take Jalen where he wants to be: Pepper's back door 😏 An excellent first page for all that is to come. Never stop surprising, Jay! ❤️
Update each moth like the last one?
That's how it works, yep.
What A handsome boy, hope he finds his way
It would be awesome if Red becomes his mentor/sensei and just has him training out in the woods like Kill Bill
Or Red recruits Jalen into "The Organization" After and extended evaluation period of course. I can still see Jalen's face through that little space in the center of the art piece where Red shows Him what a good, thorough, fucking is like.
Man can't become enlightened because he's thinking about butt stuff.
Hmm spiritual quest is an interesting subject to see you do
