Here's the thing to do about being in a place where you feel everyone is terrible like this... Leave. Don't go for revenge, don't try to find the one good thing to hold onto, don't go into a self destructive spiral, and don't become another abuser. Just leave. If you feel like you can't, just join the military or the peace corps or something. Even if you fail at that, or become miserable there, it will take you someplace far away and you can use it as a springboard to stay away. Know when to say "no more" and start living for yourself and not the quagmire everyone wants you to sink into.

Revenge? What does Ches know about being betrayed that way. This is totally revenge.
