Heather is cute! CUTE! It's great that you can give side characters these kind of moments while still keeping the story focused on Brooke. And Brooke's emotions here are very believable. As with the previous page good use of action to keep a dialog heavy scene visually engaging. Plus this is a great example of "show, don't tell" for Brooke's volleyball prowess, showing off how hard she can spike here both fits perfectly with her emotions and sets up for the team's undefeated record nicely.

also francis was open to brooke exploring she made that choice to do so she just wanted a healthy relationship. alicia was wrong for having a scheme and not going into it with good intentions brooke has every right to feel angry

I agree. This is kind of a situation where nobody is innocent. Yeah, Alicia was initially part of Kaori’s group. Brooke did have a choice though, and she should be responsible for that. Plus, she left all summer and didn’t talk to either Alicia or Francis. She banged the coach instead. The only person who didn’t really do anything was Francis.
Sure Alicia helped tempt her, but Brooke is responsible for her own choices. At the end of the day, she has to take accountability for her own actions

In a sense she's right, but every choice was hers. The choice to wait on trying to salvage what she had was hers. Also Alicia is precious and perfect and how dare Brooke foist the consequences of her own agency upon that beautiful countenance!
Here Brooke is very right, it was Alicia's fault, that's why I've never trusted her, honestly, and in the end poor Heather paid for it.
Love this page so much. Brooke and Alicia finally interacting! Sure, Alicia lured Brooke out of her relationship, but it was Brooke who made the decision to leave. Excited to see where this will go!
