As much as I don't want to admit it, Holostars could have succeeded at the time if hololive had pandered them to the actual target audience like Niji did. Selling male vtubers to male audience never works unless you're an irl streamer. Male to female on the other hand works extremely well, if they commit to the tried and true method, BFE plus highly attractive male models.
