Honestly while i see a lot of "AI Slop" games i also see some wich i consider very good or at least decent or they do combine with a proper artist to fix/improve it.
So i m just curious where you guys standing regarding AI.

I think of AI as a great "Toy" for people to play with, and an interesting "Tool" to experiment with. I don't think it should be applied en masse to any professional product or environment though. With AI art specifically, I always feel like it's (going to be) a huge bait and switch whenever I stumble upon it. Like it or hate it, AI has a stigma for a reason. If a game has nothing but AI assets, even with the best quality control at some point there's going to be a mistake that a person would not have made. It might be an extra finger, or it might be that a character's design/clothing being completely different in the same scene. The moment you see it you can't unsee it, and suddenly the whole experience is tainted.
I think we've all seen what happens with AI as a whole, the company's pushed it onto the world with such force that it's now everywhere. Using AI as a "tool" is fine for entertainment purposes, it was promoted as a "do it all" the reality is that it isn't and it sucks at most things on any type of professional or en masse setting. To make short of the rant, AI should be slapped with a "for semi- educational and entertainment purposes." Label.
AI-generated art is plagiarism, cut and dry. AI coding can be okay for some things, but terrible for others.
