New Year's Day(e) - Chapter 6 Release!
Okay, people. Here it is.
It’s done. It’s over. The end. Fin. Ciao. Goodbye, New Year’s Day(e).
For those who aren’t concerned with my sentimental ramblings, please know this before starting Chapter 6: YOUR CURRENT SAVES WILL NOT WORK!! I HAVE INCLUDED A SAVE FILE FOR YOU!!!
The save will plop you down right before the final dream in chapter 5. It’s worth playing through because it has changed.
The changes to the dream at the end of chapter 5 don’t change the trajectory or content of the actual story, just the timing, pacing, and the delivery system (I’m speaking in code/trying to avoid spoilers).
Now, for the “gooshy” stuff.
It’s been quite the journey. I made a bunch of mistakes of every sort, and I’d like to think I learned from them. In fact, I know I learned a lot along the way. Take for instance this early attempt at Eve – Yikes.
I mean, I can see her DNA in there somewhere, but this girl looks like the FNAF version of her - I mean, Jesus, look at those claws! Not to mention the overall lighting, graininess, etc.
According to the metadata, that image was created on August 7, 2022. I had probably downloaded DAZ for the first time about two or three weeks before that. Compare that to where I am now, and I think it’s safe to say I’ve come a long way.
And look, I know I'm no "DAZ Master". I know I have a lot left to learn, but I just wanted to pat myself on the back for a second for learning what I have. And I didn’t do it all on my own, either. I had tons of help from a bunch of people, all of whom I am very grateful to.
Also, I want to clarify. I say that this is “The End” of New Year’s Day(e), but that doesn’t mean we're saying goodbye to Eve, Daye, Kaylee, and the rest of the cast for forever. I’ve grown really fond of these characters as people outside of the naughty stuff. So, there will definitely be more stories featuring them, both here, on Itch, with my AVNs, and on Literotica (See shameless DLG story plug image above), in a more traditional prose/novel format.
And I definitely have plans to incorporate many of the characters that didn't have their "time to shine", so to speak.
I hope to see you all there with me, reading and playing along, and enjoying this crazy family as much as I do.
I can’t begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed the past four years of building these stories. I hope for many more years to come.

Congratulation dear creator. Heartwarming story the combination of Christmas and New Years with the widower and the beautiful ladies. I like the special style of your female characters, especially as AI is driving the world more and more into the stereotypic kind of girls, ladies, women. I started the update at the save at the end of ch 4, then played ch 5 then just past the beginning of ch 6. I did not add the save file you listed. I had no problem with using my old saves. Do I miss anything if I dont use the new download save file?
No, but I think if you tried to start at the end of chapter 5, it probably wouldn't work. Good to know it worked for you that way, though!

Is there going to be an android version
Yes, but I may need to find someone to help me compress it. Uncompressed it's almost 10GB. This is as small as I've been able to get it without completely trashing the image quality, but I am definitely not a compressor person. Some of these people can really squeeze stuff down. Sorry for the wait.
