New Year's Day(e) Progress Report - 12/24/24

Merry Christmas Eve Everyone!
It has been too long since my last progress report and for that, I apologize. This year the holiday season has been a little more overwhelming for me than usual. This can be attributed to several factors that I will not bore you with. Just know that I am finally pulling out of this tailspin I found myself in and I'm making a lot more progress with Chapter 5.
I have one spicy scene left to render and then do all of my corrections, add music, and post work. Again, this chapter will only cover one day as usual. It may seem a little shorter that what I usually release, but Chapters 6 and/or 7 will make up for it, I promise ;).
All of this to say, I don't really see me getting this finished before my projected deadline of New Year's Eve. It will most likely be released in the first half of January. This bums me out a little, but I am really excited to finish this chapter. And after that, I will switch back to working on Chapter 3 of Siren Song, which makes me really happy as well.
Anyway, I hope you all have an amazing holiday season and good cheer to you whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Saturnalia, the winter solstice or just a badass Wednesday.
Love Y'all,
~ Jonesy
P.S. I'm also working on something special for my supporters. I hope to have THAT to you by New Year's Eve. Just a small thanks for your continued support!

Good to hear it's still going. Thought you abandoned it just as it was getting good. Siren Song is good in it's own right, but I still prefer the OG and starting a new story just meant a bunch more relationship-building stuff rather than the spicier content that comes later.
Ditto to what Mangetsu said. Thanks for all your hard work! Glad you're liking your new job. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Jonesy!
Glad to hear you're still kicking Jonesy. To me that's a gift in and of itself. Still trying to move on from losing Prometheus. We did get several updates at the last minute this year, so take your time and give it the love it deserves. It'll help when holidays are over and we have something to look forward to in Jan/Feb. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and make sure you take some time for yourself!
