Devlog - Hybridia
Hi everyone!
We wanted to share an update on what's been happening at Black Hood Games these past few weeks.
Our team has been focused on multiple aspects of Hybridia as we work toward version 7.
For this update, we've been improving the animation quality throughout the game.
Our team has carefully refined character movements for smoother transitions and more natural expressions. We've paid particular attention to the intimate scenes, enhancing their fluidity and detail to create a more immersive experience.
We've also upgraded our rendering system with better lighting that creates more atmospheric environments.
The improved shadow effects and textures bring greater visual quality to every scene.
We believe you'll notice the difference between v6 and v7 when you see them side by side.
We've incorporated feedback from previous chapters, focusing on character development and engaging plot elements. The writing team has included some interesting turns that add depth to the narrative.
While working on Hybridia v7, we've also begun collaborating on a new incubation project.
This venture builds on our experience with Hybridia while exploring new creative directions. This additional project won't delay Hybridia's development – in fact, some technical improvements from this new work are already helping our main development pipeline.
Regarding the v7 release timeline: the script is almost complete.
We're working steadily to deliver this update without compromising on quality.
In the coming weeks, we'll share some preview images from v7 on our Discord server and Patreon page to give you a glimpse of the visual improvements.
Thank you for your support and patience. Your interest in Hybridia motivates us to improve with each version, and we're looking forward to bringing v7 to you.
Stay tuned and see you soon, BHG

Improvement of the animations is a very good idea. And speaking of transitions, there are a few scene changes in the game that are very abrupt, and almost shocking 😳. It would help to smooth those out a bit so the players eyes don't pop out of their heads 👀. 😉
Thank you for the update. Have a great week.
