A New Side Project Begins! ✏️
As I expected, I kind of cracked and felt the need for a second project to switch things up. I hesitated for a month because I wanted to focus on Chapter 2 for an early January release, but I really need another creative outlet.
I’ve decided to make a Visual Novel as this side project. BB: Encore will stay my main focus, but some days I’ll work only on this project to clear my mind. I plan to reuse the red panda character I drew for Chapter 3 of BB: Encore, along with other characters I’m creating for that chapter.
I’ll share updates once the first drawings are done. I’ve almost finished the prologue script and plan to start slowly, adding characters gradually. All characters will be anthro, except the MC, who will be human (you)
We’ll catch up tonight or tomorrow for the sketches of a new shot on Dawna!

Set the potential possibilities for the future creativity of the project very high IN ITS FOUNDATION, taking into account ANY possible routes and directions you might want to take it on later down the road... aka leaving it very open for *any of your future Creativity!✨️ Not for us, but for you, so you don't end up in a burning yourself out focusing on a "creatively limited" project👌and so that whenever you want to try something new or simply add something different for the project, you feel you have the means to do so👍, without completely changing the identity or theme of the game or whatnot because the world itself was already so open and with so many possibilities and just straight up potential, that it COULD go just about anywhere it may eventually want to going into the future that is!😉 Think of 'My Pig Princess'💖 for example... where the world building and such is (kind of dense but more so) *Open* that it's possibilities and potential are nearly endless with never-ending room for innovation and creativity if they were to ever so feel the urge to do so 👍 Not that you have to undertake ANY of that weight on your shoulders if you don't want to *especially as of now in this projects beginning, but just for more so the fact that you *have the choice/option to going into the future, if you were to ever feel like you might, with the want to switch things up or simply add cool new things, later in the projects development that is👌. Without, feeling the need or urge to abandon the project or Force switching sights to something else because you feel creatively trapped and without any other possible option. I'm only saying this because I've seen it countless times before from less experienced and prepared individuals in the past... And I want help you avoid that same fate ❤️ And if you'd be worried about the "consistency" of the project, I PROMISE you 99% of the players would only care about consistency of 2 BIG THINGS: ... -The *Nature of the lewd scenes themselves (i.e. playing with the tits of every character, blowjob/cum swallow scenes with all of them, creampie scenes with all of em, anal secenes with all of em, etc... Key words being *all of em lol, even if not immediate and takes a while to get there lol, as well as the quality of the lewd scenes themselves) and... -The *Quality of the Writing 💯🔥💖 As long as those two things are consistent, I'm sure the people here *and the people to come, will be more then hype and excited for anything your cooking up!💯 I'm so excited for your endeavors in this world and hope for nothing but the best to come for both you and this project!❤️💪✨️
Sorry, I said tanuki when I actually meant the red panda I had drawn before making Dawna. I should correct that tomorrow. Otherwise, thanks for the advice. I’ve also received a lot of similar feedback in DMs, especially from Cyancapsule, since My Pig Princess is precisely what made me want to make a VN in the first place. So I have a lot of ideas, but this VN should be seen like Toby Fox with Undertale, which was mainly a prototype to learn how to code and see what was possible. So I’m going to take it easy at first, with small dialogue choices, but without route splits that would prevent the player from accessing certain scenes. On the other hand, I’m going to try creating some simple mini-games to learn how to use Ren’Py. For now, the prologue script is finished, even if there are still some things to polish during the storyboard phase and I need to add dialogue choices. So it’ll start a bit like My Pig Princess, where the first chapter stays fairly simple. As for quality of my drawingq/animations, I’ll make sure not to overwhelm myself with too much work. I’d rather give it my all when I make a second VN. For now, I’m going to test things out and keep my ideas simple, otherwise I’ll never finish it.
As a visual novel addict, Yes please!
VNs are my biggest weakness, especially ones with incredible artists cooking up the assets 🙏🏿
I hope this turns out as well as my chapter 2. I’ll add less detail this time so it won’t take as long as Beat Banger’s animations. I want a light first VN to gain experience in writing, backgrounds, character design, clothing, and objects, many things I don’t draw much.
