An Update on Recent Challenges

Dear Patrons,

I wanted to take a moment to provide an update on the recent situation in my area and how it has impacted my work on the game.

As you may know, the city where I live and the surrounding region have been severely affected by floods over the past few weeks. While my own house was fortunate enough not to be directly hit by the water, we faced other challenges. Here are the key points:

  • Flood Impact: The floods disrupted daily life for everyone in our community. Roads were submerged, and emergency services were stretched thin. As a result, progress on the game slowed down significantly.

  • Water Supply Interruption: Despite our house being spared from flooding, we experienced water supply disruptions for nearly two weeks (and this is still intermittent). This made everyday tasks more challenging, and I had to prioritize essential needs over game development.

  • Power Outages: The constant power outages were another hurdle. Sometimes multiple times a day, we’d find ourselves in darkness due to the flood-related damage to power lines. Restarting computers and recovering lost work became a routine.

  • Intermittent Internet: The flood also damaged internet infrastructure, leaving us with intermittent connectivity. Broken cables and infrastructure repairs meant that staying online was a struggle.

Despite these setbacks, I remain committed to delivering the best possible game. Your support and patience during this difficult time mean the world to me. I appreciate your understanding as I navigate these challenges and work toward getting back on track.

I will most likely pause patreon charging if I'm not able to get back to my regular work rotine soon.

Thanks for your understanding.

I hope you and your loved ones are ok. I’m glad where I live we don’t suffer natural disasters.
