Episode 4.1 – Coming Tomorrow!
Hey everyone!
I won’t say the update is fully ready and we’re just waiting for the deadline - because honestly, we’ll be working non-stop for the next 24 hours, fixing more bugs than we expected. The last few days before release are always the most intense and stressful. But I’ve never delayed an update, and I’m not planning to start now!
So, the new update will be available tomorrow for Devoted+ tiers and on Sunday for Inquisitive+, as well as Steam/Itch.
Some of you have asked how many save files you’ll need to see all possible outcomes. We believe too many branching paths can be overwhelming. Some choices will have a big impact (like cheating or truth decisions with Mike), while others will mainly affect dialogue and character reactions rather than creating entirely different renders. That means your choices from the previous update will shape how characters interact with you, but the overall scenes will remain similar.
Personally, I’m really proud of the new D&D scene. I know not everyone is a fan of this storyline, but the animations and renders are top-notch - you’ll feel like you’re in a real fantasy world!

I prefer D&D's real-life offline events, and I really want to see Elijah's friends see Riley's wild side as soon as possible, as well as the pole dancing audience, and everyone in the gym

Of course, the D&D parts are pretty boring. But, I'm not so discouraged because it's SoD, the quality is excellent. What worries me is, 4 months for an update to arrive, and that update is extremely small like Bright Lord's, we'll see.

Hey Friend, Just wanted to give you a heads-up about something. MarcialART recently posted that IoM will no longer be available on Itch because they haven’t received payments for about a year. Apparently, Itch isn’t responding to emails, and other devs have faced similar issues too. He advised not to buy the game there anymore, and he’s blocked purchases. I can't wait. Even though my sub let's me play it early I wait for it on steam. I'm thinking of running the opposite path I choose when it's later in development. I think it'll be just as awesome playing it all the way through and seeing how the different path feels. As always excited to see the new update. Thank you and the team for having such a fun and awesome looking game. Keep up w.e you all are doing.
Awesome!! For the different story lines maybe add a Gallery option so we can review all possible choices without a lot of save files... Just saying. When the butt plug is coming back?
my honest reaction for this game, I don’t think the overhead view of the city even works at all since the story is so linear. theres almost no point to visit places since they don’t provide enough content. like going to the gym is almost pointless. I understand its all still a work in progress but you also need to go through each branch of the story to continue to the next part of the branch you want. so thats why I mean the story is so linear. don’t get me wrong the game is still amazin, I like the story and honestly one of the best renders out there. I hope this is just positive feedback for the next story lines.
The story is not linear, but it pushes you to see (almost) all of the scenes, because the main genre is corruption.

This game would be better if it had voice acting.The production team can do a dubbing DLC
Hope there will be a lot of action in this update. Last one was ok but the last part of it was the best with the dean. Fingers crossed for something of that sort.
