Dev Update.

Hello everyone, King here! It’s been a few days since my last post, and that’s mainly because September was a pretty hectic month.

On the personal side, I had to deal with several quotes and decisions for the renovation of my apartment. On top of that, I caught a pretty bad flu that left me feeling down for about a week.

On the professional side, I started training a potential helper to assist me with GTU’s renders. As you probably know, I’m quite demanding when it comes to the game’s graphical quality, so he’s having a bit of a hard time in the beginning. The plan is for him to have around three months of daily training here at my house to reach a result that I consider satisfactory.

Some of you may not know this, but last year I actually hired and trained another professional to help me with the renders. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out because he wasn’t able to reach the level of quality I was expecting.

Since training someone takes a lot of time and energy, I only decided to try again now. Let’s hope everything works out this time!

Regarding the last poll about how dark I could go with the story, my main goal was to understand whether having some darker moments in the game would be a problem for you. It doesn’t mean that this would become a constant thing, or that we would go down a rabbit hole with no intention of coming back.

Just like in Season 1, I’ll carefully consider which moments would actually make sense to have something darker. Nothing like that will be included just for the sake of shock value. After all, this is a sensitive subject and shouldn’t be treated lightly.

This month’s update started being released to Master patrons yesterday. It ended up being one week late because of all the craziness in September, but I intend to make up for it this month!

On Wednesday, I’ll also make a wallpaper poll. It’s been quite a while since we last did one.
