How Dark Should We Go?
Hey everyone, King here. So, like I mentioned in yesterday's post, I need to run a really important poll, one that's going to shape a big chunk of the game.
As everyone who's played GTU noticed, the story took on a heavier tone as it went along. Season 2 won't be any different: there'll be plenty of lighthearted, good-vibes moments, but there'll also be stretches where things get a lot darker.
Here's my question: do you think I should steer away from those themes and keep the mood more upbeat, or keep digging deeper into the story of the abuse, possibly heading somewhere even darker down the line?
The story as originally planned does move through some pretty heavy stretches for a while. I can soften that by tweaking a few key beats, sparing you guys some of the discomfort while still holding on to the essence of it.

Tu devrais faire un choix pour savoir thèmes plus sombre ou non. (Que se soit dans les menu ou non) Ça fera en sorte que les personnes qui en veulent pas soit pas déçues et que se qui en veulent soit servi aussi.

Depends on what kind of dark we are talking about. If I am reading the story properly, we can go a Lil bit darker.
Do what you want. Go with what you had planned. I'm just here to play 😋. But personally... I enjoyed darker/mature-themed AVNs more, but that's just my personal preference 😅.
