update time! i had to keep this part of their past a secret until now, but i can finally reveal it and it feels really nice 🌸 writing realistic characters comes with many decisions like this, and unfortunately I have to break both of their hearts in different ways. I would love to hear your thoughts about it all!

He was in love with Robin so it hurt to see him with someone else. I get it. Robin doesn't get it and maybe needs to think about it. He in a way did cause this.
"My heart aches, and a drowsy numbness pains..." But seriously, I don't have words for how I've felt since the flashback to Robin's first boyfriend. I cried that night. I cried again thinking about it. Maybe it's too relatable for me, but so is this whole, beautiful thing. But the depth of love and yearning I feel far surpasses the sorrow. I wish I could say more. You deserve more. I think I'll have to get a tattoo of some reference to this comic eventually, as I do with all media that changes my life.
