September Hiatus!
hey, end of August is already here!! i spent most of August with self care and enjoyed the off time, i practiced and doodled a lot... but I'm not ready to come back yet, and i've decided to take September off, too. the billing cycle is still paused! you won't get charged for September and you don't need to delete your pledge (unless you want to of course). it will resume when i come back!
i hope you can all see this public post and get notified,
basically, i realized something while i was away. i have to cut and shorten the plot of Ghost Lights - because of my health. the realization sent me through some serious heartbreak ;; but while at first i was really sad about it... i'm really motivated now. luckily i realized now when i still can do that and not when it's too late. i'll use this as a chance to make the story much much better (i hope), creepier... and as beautiful as possible! and it will be better for myself once it's done.
i began to cut scenes and it's a huge task and will be a lot of work, especially because the scenes build onto each other. i will go into more detail once i'm back and can lock the posts again!
while i focus on writing i will also work on upcoming scenes (most of volume 3 is good to go, so GL will continue for sure), i started with the storyboard already
but i need time to really sort this out. thank you so much for your patience and your support 🥺💙 i hope we'll see us in October again. please take care, ily 💕

The pace doesn't really matter, in the sense that you could give us one update per year and I'll support you all the same because I love the comic so much! It's such a good story! So please do take the time to care for yourself, we love you, we wish you health and all the best and we'll wait patiently. <3
thank you so much 💙 it honestly means the world and gives me peace of mind, to know that there will be people waiting even though i might take a bit longer sometimes. the last two months i could get a lot of things done (not much drawing, but other important stuff), and now i feel motivated and ready to come back next month! i really can't thank you enough ; -; <3
Your health is entirely more important, so I definitely say focus on your health and everything will work itself out the way it's going to. Looking forward to reading more but also looking forward to you starting to feel the best you can as well!! You got this! :)
It’s always such a difficult choice to overhaul plans for a story, especially when it means cutting anything out. But I always find that trusting the creative process in that way ultimately makes the story the best it can be. Thank you for the update! Keep taking good care of yourself. Wishing you only the best and eager to see where you go from here!
